Guy Fawkes night and rodent-ey pets?

I know lots of dogs don't like fireworks and our Dearly Departed moggie used to hide in the wardrobe (aaahh!)

It's still quite warm here in Darkest Essex and ordinarily I would leave the GPs outside. But I'm worried about the noise.

Do you bring your guineas in for Guy Fawkes night?

(I've got a large indoor cage and they can go in the dining room by the patio doors so they don't get too warm. Then back outside during the day) We are going out to a display so will leave the TV or radio on for them to dull the noise.

I would bring them in mainly because you're going out and so won't be there to check whether they are scared or not- better to be safe than sorry :)

We've had a few (Diwali) (sp) fireworks last week and they seemed okay with that.
But this weekend it will all kick off.!

One of mine is a big, bloshy "I ain't scared of nuffink,me" type boars.
But his little brother is a bit more timid.

So they'll come in and have a nice quiet couple of nights. Grin

The rats don't seem to even give two hoots, even when it's heavy going they barely even bother to wake up!

Our GPs live indoors, but weather permitting, go outside. However, DD doesn't like them being out after dark as there are lots of cats and foxes about, so she certainly wouldn't let them be outside during the fireworks.

However, if they did live outside, we would bring them in during the fireworks.

Mine have never been bothered by fireworks. Rattle a plastic bag the wrong way though and all hell breaks loose! Mine are indoors all the time though.
