But i'm sort of scared. At the moment i have just over shoulder length hair. Dyed it black. Used to have a side fringe but its growing out slowly now. I've tried a fringe and it just didnt work. I have layers so my hair has a bit of volume but i've had the same hair-do since i was 12. I'm bored of it now.

I was thinking of having a few inches off, thinning it out a little if possible and having a side fringe put back in. I'd like my hair to be a bit shorter but just above shoulder height. Any ideas?
