Getting a new zip fitted in a pair of boots near Swindon

I had the same problem, but in Bristol. Boots cost £140 so didn't want to throw them away. Tried loads of independents cobblers, and one agreed to do it for £40 (for both boots). I don't think he realised how difficult the job was and I'm sure he regretted his quote. However, he did re-zip them, but he also messed up the elastic bit at the top and I had to repair them with some careful sewing to reinforce that section. (I'm not a seamstress) Everyone else quoted much higher prices so I decided to accept this, rather than go back to complain about damage. I'm still wearing them and they look ok. Defintely had my wear out of them as I've had them for at least 6 - 7 years!

Can anyone recommend anywhere within striking distance of Swindon where I can get a new zip fitted in my knee length boots?

They are old, but expensive, and I like them. If it's cheaper to get a new zip fitted than buy a new pair, that is what I would like to do.

Anyone got any suggestions?
