Beautiful silk scarf at neck and some nice earrings or possibly tights in a colour or as suggested nude fishnet (or even navy fishnet) rather than plain navy - belt might spoil the line depending on where it falls but might work as others suggest? I'm not a big one for sparkle on austere but that is just me.....

Have an almost identical dress with a long button through skirt on it which I wear with red shoes and tights, buttoned to the neck (or with silk scarf depending on temperature) fab earrings and decent lipstick but otherwise pared down makeup......kind of the suggestion of something interesting underneath if that makes sense....

I guess depends on what the occasion is?

A really thin belt with something sparkly on it.

How about nude small fishnet tights instead of navy. I think it needs something to 'lift' it, would personally go for something with a bit of sparkle, either scarf, necklace, chunky bangle. Something to catch the ligh and a bit twinkly.

Navy dress here is the dress but not sure how to accessorize it, if at all? Do you think navy tights? I am wearing a pair of Vivienne Westwood platforms in brown crocodile print. I thank you.
