They are indeed very lovely. Also love them in the yellow too.

bettykt Sat 12-Apr-14 17:14:47

Very nice indeed. I too love them in yellow

Fluffycloudland77 Sat 12-Apr-14 17:19:13

I don't have new shoes very often, can you tell?

I literally can't wait to collect them.

whitewitchofnarnia Sat 12-Apr-14 17:21:25

Damn. I luffs them also. I now want them. <tries yo think of ways to justify buying them>

Fluffycloudland77 Sat 12-Apr-14 17:22:38

Do it.

They will go with everything.

Chottie Sat 12-Apr-14 17:24:38

Just yummy <<drools.....>>

GemmaPomPom Sat 12-Apr-14 17:25:46

Wow! They're nice! Usually on these threads the shoes in question turn out to be some Clark's/Hush Puppy monstrosities.

Fluffycloudland77 Sat 12-Apr-14 17:25:47

I've ordered yellow, I'll get the white for next year if I can get them in the sale.

The heel height is perfect for me.

ihatethecold Sat 12-Apr-14 17:27:02

they are so nice, you lucky thing!

Fluffycloudland77 Sat 12-Apr-14 17:28:02

I only buy nice shoes.

I'm only good at buying shoes & ordering the meal everyone else will wish they ordered.

whitewitchofnarnia Sat 12-Apr-14 17:34:20

Arghhh i'm to order them. I have never actually owned any sandles that I can remember as i've allways had hideous feet , however I've just finished a course of physiotherapy which sorted them out so these might be my treat!

zeddybrek Sat 12-Apr-14 18:02:54

Experiencing high levels of sandal envy. I am 39w 2d and have swollen man feet. These would be a lovely treat, can you let us know if they are comfy.

Zepherial Sat 12-Apr-14 18:16:27

They are super yum, I have been buffering my feet to get them into a nice sandal. Good for you.

Maisie0 Sat 12-Apr-14 19:15:04

They look very pretty. smile
Carvela. My favourite brand.

I would love them in yellow, too. Beautiful.

SpringItOn Sat 12-Apr-14 22:57:15

They're lovely. Can't walk in high heels though, they don't look high but 8cm sounds high. Might have to try them on........ smile

peasandlove Sun 13-Apr-14 00:40:41

theyr'e very cute. I thought you were going to link some nasty clumpy soled thing

peasandlove Sun 13-Apr-14 01:43:12

like these.. wow asos

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 07:47:27

There is a gap in the market for nice mid-heel sandals with no diamante trim or beading.

The other pair I saw were turquoise metallic leather & it wasn't a look you could wear around Aldi.

I think designers forget we can't all wear 120mm heels hmm or they just don't care.

I totally agree. The high heels and super high heels are madness, but they seem to make up most of the shoes, esp sandals, that are for sale.

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 07:50:10

I would wear these but not with that heel.

Insanity heel.

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 07:55:31

Yep, lower that by 40mm and you've got a nice shoe.

Also, why do low heels have to be wedges or stick shaped blocks? They should have a slight curve.

Oooh I'm on my soap box now.

I absolutely agree. I just bought the TopShop Nina heels, which were the only pretty low heeled ankle strap sandals I could find.

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 08:35:31

they will KILLyour feet i bet

lovely tho

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 08:37:46

like the Ninas - lol at 80% leather

BuzzardBird Sun 13-Apr-14 08:38:17

Wow peas that hurt my eyes!

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 08:40:19

I will only be wearing them for short periods, I have These for shopping trips & low top ash lookalikes for going around national trust places.

Reiss are doing some pretty shoes (Eden, I think) that are something like 55% real snakeskin and 45% kid leather. I did wonder how they came up w those numbers. Do they have a maths professor in ther calculating the %?

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 08:49:17

Poor snakes, they skin them alive from what I've heard.

Oh, I just read some awful articles on it. I'm no snake lover, but it sounds v cruel.

lurkingaround Sun 13-Apr-14 10:40:24

Lovely sandals, but I would never manage a full day in them. As a healthy size 12,hmm I need a block heel if I'm going to stick the day in them. I can't be the only one?

Like these, or these, kinda heavy looking tho, or maybe these, but they're fabric, not leather.

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 12:47:03

Well john Lewis phoned to say out of stock. I am complaining to the CEO via email.

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 13:59:04
Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 13:59:28

lurking NO NO NO to those fugly shooz

lurkingaround Sun 13-Apr-14 15:46:47

grin grin
M&S ones are lovely.
Other stories ones aren't that bad. And I wouldn't fall over or wobble. I'll give you the fact that beside the delicate sandals on this thread they are a bit heifer-ish. But on a foot, they may not look heifer-ish at all.
Oh alright then, maybe they're not my best choice ever. Ain't buying anyhoo.

sonlypuppyfat Sun 13-Apr-14 15:56:06

Your not going to do much walking in them smile

lurkingaround Sun 13-Apr-14 16:02:59

True I suppose.
You're all going to convince me I bet. I am sooo impressionable grin

The M&S ones look really lovely. I'm so helpful grin

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 17:17:21

IME marks outlet always worth keeping an eye on after the sale, a lot of autograph shoes go on there

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 17:18:16

oooh that stuff comes from AMAZON, thats weird

I wonder if they sell their excess stock to Amazon, then? Not a big deal, just interesting.

BumWad Sun 13-Apr-14 17:21:36

They are awful.

Sorry really not doing it for me confused

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 17:21:47

i thought * scratches chin*

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 17:21:59

which Bummy?

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 17:42:40

Odd afternoon hmm

JL rang to cancel order as oos
Then I got a text to say order ready
Rang store, store confirmed order ready.
Raced to store to get shoes before they change their mind.

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 17:47:52

LaTrucha Sun 13-Apr-14 18:12:37

I love all those &otherstories ones, thank you! I was just resigning myself to comfy boring Clarks once again.

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 18:13:29

Oblomov Sun 13-Apr-14 18:31:44

Think they're lovely. Prefer the yellow. Not cheap at £85 though.

lurkingaround Sun 13-Apr-14 18:36:51

Aha! See, I'm not alone in my Other Stories like!

Was in Zara.
Heifer-ish or not, I like these from Zara if they were available in my size. How do you sell out in a sandal in April??

And if you're looking for low heeled gold these are lovely.

And now these, these I could manage, tho they are v high.

Lots of lovely ones on the Zara shoe page tho some are frighteningly bunion and back-pain inducing high.

LaTrucha Sun 13-Apr-14 18:46:41

I don't like them either legologgo!

BumWad Sun 13-Apr-14 19:26:14

All of them lego!!

I feel like this thread has been started by my mam! confused

& Other Stories do do some pretty sandals, though. Here: www.stories.com/Shoes/Sandals/Strappy_leather_sandals/582737-4134804.1 and www.stories.com/Shoes/Sandals/T-strap_Sandalette/582737-4216781.1. Both look pretty sturdy, too.

Legologgo Sun 13-Apr-14 20:08:07

i AM your 'mam' grin

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 13-Apr-14 20:57:04

Or am I bumwads mam? <evil cackle>

Maisie0 Wed 16-Apr-14 21:42:07
