Aigle Sahar or Le Chameau Olonne or a Barbour

I am trying to choose a waterproof coat that is not a parka (I tried on a couple of the Barbour parkas and DH could not stop laughing, I just look like I am in fancy dress somehow, just don't work on me)

I like

And

I don't know if a Barbour would be better, but the one I like, the belted utility is a bit too much like my Belstaff maybe.

Any other suggestions gratefully received, I don't like hoods or puffy type jackets.

What do you think?

I have the Aigle jacket which you linked to and I love it. It's really warm, waterproof and quite stylish. I've never taken the inner jacket out ajd really like the cord collar in the contrasting colour. My one and only niggle is that the hood attaches by popper fastenings and one of mine comes undone if it gets a tug in the wrong direction. It's not enough to put me off it though! I really would recommend it - it's far nicer IRL than in the picture!

Oh do you have the bronze MrsMc?

Oh, also how is the sizing in Aigle. I am a twelve.

I was also looking at the Barbour Belsay.

Yep, I think so - green with a browny cord collar? Sizing is true to size. Am a 10, ordered a ten. Sleeves a good length and sits below by bum!

Thanks

Have you looked at the Jack Murphy range? I've got this one and have had lots of compliments.

Oh yes, they are nice (I really like yours), but everything in my size seems to be out of stock.

I think you can find the Sallywood on other sites in some sizes. This site has it in black in most sizes.
