I need some boots that will see me through winter , I generally tuck trousers/jeans in to them .
Budget of £50 .
I'm 25 so nothing to old though happy to do more 'out their' iyswim

I've struggled to find any boots that fit & have given in , so maybe somebody here will have more luck .

Also no stilletos grin

I got a pair from Amazon, slightly biker style. They are so comfortable, I'll link when I can get on laptop later.

Brantano has 40% off and had some lovely boots for about £27 with the discount.

The code EVERYTHING40, you probably can get some lovely ones for £50 with the discount.

coffeewineandchocolate Thu 19-Sep-13 17:36:55

What size are you?

headsspinningforachange Thu 19-Sep-13 17:45:56

Size 4 smile

gaggiagirl Thu 19-Sep-13 17:50:52

New look! I got some brown leather beauties in the sale for £20 last summer but with a £50 budget you should get a good pair from there.

headsspinningforachange Thu 19-Sep-13 17:52:16

Are New look good quality , I don't want them falling apart mid winter <bitter experience>

MortifiedAdams Thu 19-Sep-13 17:54:43

OP i could.be you. Size four, large calves and low budget so thanks for starting this thread!

Everytime I buy Rocket Dog they don't make it through the winter confused

ellesabe Thu 19-Sep-13 19:57:04

envy at all you people who think £50 is low budget grin

Mogz Thu 19-Sep-13 20:24:00

My rocket dogs are also on their second winter, and last year they stood in as my biking boots for two days when I left my proper boots at work, I loooove them!

Glitterkitten24 Thu 19-Sep-13 20:25:00

Don't laugh, but asda have leather riding style boots in for 40quid at the moment- my friend had a pair which lasted her two winters so I have caved and bought some.
They are really comfy.

I had a cheapy pair from new look last year and they didn't even last though December!

Waswondering Thu 19-Sep-13 20:28:26

Second the Asda riding boots which I admired last night. Bargain.

LoganMummy Thu 19-Sep-13 20:28:52

I got a great pair from M&S for under £40 last week. Soooo comfy!

Fairylea Thu 19-Sep-13 20:33:21

Anything here? - www.pavers.co.uk/women/footwear/boots

Another lovely poster started a thread about the 40% off.

Reserve online & Collect in store, dont pay until you collect.
Offer runs out tonight though.

I reserved the black & mushroom, to see which are nicest.

Im usually in Converse, need warmth!

MyBoysAreFab Thu 19-Sep-13 21:50:16

I think the Rocket Dog boots linked are the ones I bought last winter in the sale and they have worn well so far. They have a zip and a grey tweed insert so can wear with zip open iyswim. Nice with skinnies and a short skirt/jumper dress and thick tights.

MortifiedAdams Thu 19-Sep-13 21:52:34
headsspinningforachange Thu 19-Sep-13 22:13:25

They look longer than my legs grin
