I need one but am quite fussy: must be mid grey possibly oversize slouchy but not scruffy possibly a textured knit possibly crew neck and hopefully wool or cashmere or at least a wool poly blend. Acrylic only if all the other criteria are met. Any help appreciated!

Any body any where seem one??

Tried on four as you described in TK maxx. Lovely knitwear. It was the Brighton branch I visited so it may have been exceptionally good.

Celtic Sheepskin have lovely ones. Can't link on my phone but the website is [[www.celticsheepskin.co.uk]

I was searching on Etsy earlier for something similar and found a couple, but OMG the weirdness on there. It is needle in a haystack

Try The White Company

I got a great one in top shop. Not sure if they're still in stock though, it was a few months ago.

goforthejobular Tue 27-Aug-13 00:20:23

Try Cos? There is a Cos thread running at the moment and people are loving it!

MissDD1971 Tue 27-Aug-13 09:33:49

There was a nice one in Zara. Blogger Susie SoSo wore it the other day.

MissDD1971 Tue 27-Aug-13 09:35:42

I was in AllSaints today. They have several beautiful grey slouchy items of desire. Wish I had the money as they are gorgeous.smile

I'm watching this thread.

The slouchy gray jumper...so simple, yet so elusive.

LynetteScavo Tue 27-Aug-13 18:33:07

Ooh, I'm watching this avidly.

I bought one 5 years ago from Zara and have only just thrown it out because it was beyond shapeless after so much use.

I got a great one from Wallis but they don't seem to have it now? It's big grey stripes and so soft and slouchy.

noddyholder Tue 27-Aug-13 19:39:11

not a jumper but i bought and am seriously impressed

MissDD1971 Tue 27-Aug-13 20:22:02

They have Celtic sheepskin jerseys in TK Maxx at the mo, inc the odd cashmere for 30 quid.

LynetteScavo Tue 27-Aug-13 21:20:48

Man made fibres but a bargain and I like it.

Bargain! Has wool in it.

AgathaF Tue 27-Aug-13 22:21:19

No inspiration to offer, but don't the models on the Zara site look bloody miserable?

MrsShrek3 - shameless brag - my brother does the photography for Woolovers website/catalogue as he's a personal friend of the guy that owns it and has even had some freebies out of it. LOL

RubyLovesShopping Thu 29-Aug-13 15:12:30

Whistles Maggie cashmere sweater (£165)... I suspect they'll do one of their Grazia 25% off deals soon.

Phoolani I want one of those now shock

Is yours the grey one? Not sure I can justify £70 on a sweater... how is FC sizing?

MissDD1971 Fri 30-Aug-13 19:54:10

LMAO at MrsShrek3 - I thought the green emoticon was something different.

next time my brother gets freebies he doesn't want I may send them your way. smile

and to the other poster yeah my little brother is talented - he's at film school now part time. thanks for compliments I'll pass them onto Mark (owner at Woolovers) and my brother.

John I have it in grey and love it! I am an 8/10 and have XS - I am usually a small - and it's quite baggy on me.

JohnSnowsTie Fri 30-Aug-13 22:27:22

Thanks flower, it's a toss up between grey and navy for me!

I got a beautiful slouchy boxy almost dolman-esque fine knit from H and M last week - new in and in loads of colours, I got it in black and want a duplicate as it's one of those items I know I'll wear to death. It's viscose and all sorts of crap but seems to have survived its first wash, plus it was only £15.

Plumo 100% wool £95 http://www.plumo.com/products/Lene-jumper.html

Mint Velvet are always good for both grey and slouchy. They have a few in ATM at ~ £60.

bigbutsrus1 Sat 31-Aug-13 09:50:20

Hush do a "sloppy joe" one that fits the description!
