Madonna's teeth. I've clearly missed something.

But mainly they just look awful, like she's eaten something and its all stuck, or not brushed for decades.

Is this really 'in' at the moment? I know I'm hardly style conscious but this just made me snort. Celebs and their money grin

Dackyduddles Thu 22-Aug-13 16:59:50

Does she wear a grillz?

dexter73 Thu 22-Aug-13 17:02:38

Gold grillz Dackyduddles - seriously awful!

She is not growing old gracefully

ShotgunNotDoingThePans Thu 22-Aug-13 17:15:21

I've seen everything now.

valiumredhead Thu 22-Aug-13 17:18:02

Oh she looks awful, can't understand why she'd think it would look good.

noviceoftheday Thu 22-Aug-13 17:18:24

No I don't think you have missed anything!grin

Shes not looking good is she.

Tattva Thu 22-Aug-13 17:20:57

Daft moo. She has perfected the manky teeth look.

buttercrumble Thu 22-Aug-13 17:24:38

Looks horrendous

Onesleeptillwembley Thu 22-Aug-13 17:34:23

Madonna now reminds me of a particularly unflarreing Spitting Image puppet of herself.

Yonihadtoask Thu 22-Aug-13 17:37:02

ha ha.

She should be more careful - she is lucky not to have dentures at her age.. he he he.

disclaimer: said in jest. I am/was a fan. I am almost as old as her.

Tweet2tweet Thu 22-Aug-13 19:17:33

And why wouldn't a 55 year old ex pop star get gangster teeth. Seems as perfectly thought out as the camel toe leotard in one of her previous music videos, when she used to make music.

I especially think they matched the floral tea dress and crocheted cardigan she was wearing.

Dackyduddles Thu 22-Aug-13 19:50:29

I only guessed after finding them mentioned in grazia mag this issue. Ha! Made me look proper knowledgeable for a nano second!

Of course if I had her money, figure and 'purple hat' approach to life I'd do it. I kinda like her. Just not her man hands and arms.....

Oh dear, I'd never seen these before. Plenty of plaque stagnation areas around those bad boys. I expect a lot of young people will be needing their teeth fixed if they wear those for extended periods.

FriskyHenderson Thu 22-Aug-13 20:03:53

I thought they/it made her teeth look really yellow. Not good.

AWimbaWay Thu 22-Aug-13 20:45:38

She reminds me of this.

SundaySimmons Fri 23-Aug-13 01:02:33

She looks like Pennywise the clown's, demented sister. Scary.

SundaySimmons Fri 23-Aug-13 01:02:45
valiumredhead Fri 23-Aug-13 11:01:36

I think the saying 'more money than sense' sums it up nicelywink

Leopoldina Fri 23-Aug-13 11:06:27

forgive my naivety, but do they come out at night or are they attached (semi) permanently? I imagine they're a devil to floss properly with, but if they're removable, that's quite a precious-metal-and-diamond choke risk for an older lady, isn't it?

Oblomov Fri 23-Aug-13 11:09:57

Yuk. Her ambition to look 20 is getting sillier and sillier.

eurochick Fri 23-Aug-13 11:13:29

Oh dear.

SPBisResisting Fri 23-Aug-13 11:18:38

Apparently loads of people have them. Just googled. Look awful and ad others say they must be a plaque haven

karmakoala Fri 23-Aug-13 11:42:09

oh they're really bad.

My nans teeth look like that, she smokes 40 a day...

lifesgreatquestions Fri 23-Aug-13 13:01:47

Shocker! And the other pics of Rhianna et al none better!

YoniTime Fri 23-Aug-13 13:09:07

Is it like jewelry for your teeth?!

noddyholder Fri 23-Aug-13 13:17:13

Tbh I would be hugely disappointed if she didn;t do this stuff

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes Fri 23-Aug-13 13:57:14

I just wonder why she would want to draw attention to such horrible teeth by wearing it, perhaps if they were all even and white it might look better.

Quaffle Fri 23-Aug-13 14:12:23

She's just ridiculous.

Those things would look revolting on a young person but on her they're even worse.

I think the ridiculousness comes from the fact that things like that don't improve anyone's looks (quite the opposite) so she's not doing it to look nicer, but just desperately trying to look younger and desperation is so un attractive.

PostBellumBugsy Fri 23-Aug-13 14:20:18

I'm with noddy - I'd be disappointed too if she didn't do this kind of thing. I hope she doesn't grow old gracefully - I want her to be chopping and changing her image & making us all say "oh look at Madonna" until she dies.

ThursdayLast Fri 23-Aug-13 14:23:55

Ha, have googled and am now in the loop.

All I keep thinking is that they will wear the enamel away on her teeth! It's giving me the nails down blackboard feeling

noddyholder Fri 23-Aug-13 15:46:11

Why the assumption she is doing it to improve her looks in the eyes of others? Thanks god she just keeps on going and hasn't succumbed to the 50s uniform of ill fitting jeans and waterfall cardis.

YoniTime Fri 23-Aug-13 16:06:47

I'm actually glad she keeps doing her own thing with style too.

But this it's called grillz? Is it removable or is it glued to your gums or what?

mignonette Fri 23-Aug-13 16:08:24

They clip onto your teeth. An erode the enamel from other teeth if you have an under or over bite.

Lazysuzanne Fri 23-Aug-13 17:12:11

I'm not sure I exactly like the teeth but generally I think she looks great, I hope I look that good at 55
(fat chance of that mindgrin )

Not sure it's one of her best 'looks'.

I like her hair though, bouncy and salon like - flick flick flick

MisselthwaiteManor Fri 23-Aug-13 17:21:15

I think it looks ridiculous on anyone, it's not her age, rhianna looked stupid with junk on her teeth too.

Mintyy Fri 23-Aug-13 17:21:42

Mintyy Fri 23-Aug-13 17:25:38

This is a 50 year old who looks good for her age Jodie Foster

KhloeKardashian Fri 23-Aug-13 17:31:45

What ever face treatments she is having, are much better than the pillow face look she had.

AmandaHoldenmigroin Fri 23-Aug-13 17:41:43

No, Kendra Wilkinson did this about 6 years ago.

valiumredhead Fri 23-Aug-13 17:47:57

Pillow face was an odd look indeed.

Back2Two Fri 23-Aug-13 17:59:33

Pillow face madonna or Jodie?

lurkingaround Fri 23-Aug-13 18:04:19

Jeez. They are shocking. I suppose that's the idea. Who let her out like that? They look v uncomfortable.

Jodie looks great.

noddyholder Fri 23-Aug-13 18:39:07

Josie foster looks good people used to say i looked like her sadly not anymore! And she is 4 yrs older than me shock

MissOtisRegretsMadam Fri 23-Aug-13 18:41:10

Rather look at that than at her crotch in a nude babygro!

Tweet2tweet Fri 23-Aug-13 19:37:19

Jodie Foster looks amazing but has always been very serene, subtle and understated. Cate Blanchett is another one (picture aged 44). That seems to be the trick to ageing well IMO.

lurkingaround Fri 23-Aug-13 20:20:26

MissOtis What? What crotch in what nude baby bro? Who? Where?

valiumredhead Fri 23-Aug-13 20:24:17

Madonna had pillow face recently not Jodie Foster.grin

MissOtisRegretsMadam Fri 23-Aug-13 20:28:14

I'm just thinking of a couple of madonna music videos a few years ago... Think one was with Justin trousersnake. It featured intense up close madonna flange shots of her wearing trinny and susannah style magic knickers... It was grim...

lurkingaround Fri 23-Aug-13 20:39:45

Ah. Madonnas never fails to, erm, surprise.

valiumredhead Fri 23-Aug-13 20:39:48

Ewww I remember that....

TSSDNCOP Fri 23-Aug-13 22:10:10

But it's Madonna. Half the stuff she debuts looks preposterous initially, but almost always becomes mainstream after a while.

She can't do a Foster or Blanchet because her audience is completely different, she's more the Tina Turner/Cher end of the spectrum.

MissOtisRegretsMadam Fri 23-Aug-13 22:16:59

Definitely the Cher end of the spectrum in the undies department! grin

valiumredhead Fri 23-Aug-13 22:34:05

Pretty sure grilz won't become mainstream for 50 year oldsgrin
