Well, if I was her, I'd be asking where the rest of my dress was.

IntheFrame Thu 25-Apr-13 22:51:36

Yuck.

Even her more intimate bits look fallible in that. Black sheer material never did anyone any favours - instant aging effect. She'd have been better off just showing her glowing skin.

Lighthousekeeping Thu 25-Apr-13 22:52:43

I know. She can get away with anything. I don't know who suggested this was a good idea.

cornydash Thu 25-Apr-13 22:52:51

oh my word gwynnie - that's hideous

DewDr0p Thu 25-Apr-13 22:55:23

Ugh. Vile dress - looks even worse from the front.

Why??

Blackduck Thu 25-Apr-13 22:55:37

OMG who thought that was a good idea...

AlfalfaMum Thu 25-Apr-13 23:06:18

I quite like it blush. I like the futuristic thing.. I do have quite weird taste in clothes myself so maybe thats why.
I quite like that she doesn't seem to take her clothes that seriously or play it safe, she likes to play around and have fun with it.

AlfalfaMum Thu 25-Apr-13 23:07:27

Oh Christ, someone buy me a thesaurus!

LeoandBoosmum Thu 25-Apr-13 23:11:25

Awful although that's a really nice shade of green on it...

AnyFucker Thu 25-Apr-13 23:11:26

I don't like the frock, but I do like Gwynnie

She is very intelligent, and very beautiful

cornydash Thu 25-Apr-13 23:12:14

I think it's the black net thing that I don't like. I can't imagine it being flattering on anybody, but maybe it looked better in RL.

cornydash Thu 25-Apr-13 23:12:54

Yes I like her too AF - she was very entertaining on Jonathan Ross last week.

CoolCadbury Thu 25-Apr-13 23:15:55

It's too messy. She's got a fantastic figure (and she admits she works hard to keep it that way) but the dress actually takes over and you can't appreciate all the effort she puts in into keeping trim and toned.

MarshaBrady Thu 25-Apr-13 23:18:58

She's looking very pretty. But few too many things going on with the dress.

piprabbit Thu 25-Apr-13 23:19:12

If you are insetting a piece of sheer net, why would you put a seam up the middle?

MarshaBrady Thu 25-Apr-13 23:21:07

I prefer the side view, to the front - it's the green band I like least.

justasecond Thu 25-Apr-13 23:26:08

How is she not exposing herself when she walks?
She just comes across as vain, self absorbed and in the middle of a mid life crisis. Her body is amazing though

Yikes no no and thrice no.

I do like her though. But even she can't get away with that dress.

cornydash Thu 25-Apr-13 23:30:00

I don't know if she's any more body obsessed than any other major celebrity. She has to stay in shape for her roles I suppose and if I had her lifestyle and opportunities I'm sure I would spend more time exercising!
Apparently she exercises with Tracy Anderson to stay in shape - no wonder she has such a great figure.

recall Thu 25-Apr-13 23:31:42

no pants shock

cornydash Thu 25-Apr-13 23:32:28

you think - not even a g-string?

LadyIsabellaWrotham Thu 25-Apr-13 23:35:10

I think the dress is interesting as a piece, but when you actually wear it you might as well wear a badge saying LOOK AT ME I'VE GOT NO KECKS ON!
Which is a bit try-hard.

recall Fri 26-Apr-13 00:18:51

If she has a G string on, it must be cutting her in two !!

It's very Rihanna grin

MrsMaryCooper Fri 26-Apr-13 08:16:45

The seam up the side is just wrong! Surely it should be one piece of fabric.

grin at it's very Rihanna. Certainly agree there. Not a fan of Gwyn, but she usually dresses well......not here though. Looks too desperate to be seen as edgy.

NotTreadingGrapes Fri 26-Apr-13 08:26:32

I think Gwynnie is very pretty. She has those "fine" delicate features whereby I imagine she doesn't have to do that much to keep in shape tbh.

The frock is minging though. If Madonna or yes, Rihanna were wearing it there would be campaigns and all sorts to stop trollopy looking frockery being allowed. But because it's Gwynnie and she's earnest it'll be OK.

amessagetoyouYoni Fri 26-Apr-13 08:53:14

Vile.

She has a fantastic figure and could wear so many lovely styles, and she chooses this monstrosity? Blimey.

Bonsoir Fri 26-Apr-13 09:14:20

Gosh, that dress is so unflattering!!!

quietlysuggests Fri 26-Apr-13 09:18:34

I love it!
I have decided that the more the media tell us she is really annoying, the more I will like her!
Take that Daily mail!

ZaraW Fri 26-Apr-13 10:11:58

She is beautiful but that dress is just nasty. For once on my life I agree with the Daily Fail she is annoying especially when it comes to food. Too smug and virtuous for me.

ExRatty Fri 26-Apr-13 10:28:45

I like her
she amuses me
I also think she looks great although I think her hair is too blonde
i can't do tracy anderson though

ItsYonliMe Fri 26-Apr-13 12:07:13

Attention seeking obviously. Can't understand why she wouldn't be exposing herself when she takes those long strides.

ExRatty Fri 26-Apr-13 13:26:18

She said she was hijacked by the dress and horribly embarrassed by how exposed it was
A razor was quickly required as she likes to be a bit 1970s down there
pparently

ItsYonliMe Fri 26-Apr-13 13:34:41

What does "1970s down there" mean?

SisterMonicaJoan Fri 26-Apr-13 13:43:52

I presume she means she actually has hair "down there"!

Guessing Chris likes the organic look grin

ItsYonliMe Fri 26-Apr-13 13:55:46

Is that 1970s ?? Am I caught in a timewarp?

SisterMonicaJoan Fri 26-Apr-13 13:59:20

Oh, it's not clear what she meant is it??

TheCrackFox Fri 26-Apr-13 14:07:06

Well, the dress is, er, odd.

But Gwynnie is beautiful and intelligent and I can't but help like her.

ExRatty Fri 26-Apr-13 16:49:40

I hope she meant that she sports a bountiful lady garden
it has made me like her more even given GOOP and her ability to DO Anderson

Pannacotta Fri 26-Apr-13 16:54:22

Christ on a bike, is having a "bountiful lady garden" considered to be 1970s now?!

She must have felt the draughts with no undies on though!

Startail Fri 26-Apr-13 16:55:14

I'm assuming she is being given a big bonus for all the publicity that will get the film.

LeChatRouge Fri 26-Apr-13 16:55:29

I've heard from certain sources it's coming back in again.

Full bush.

ExRatty Fri 26-Apr-13 16:58:42

yy I think it is. a 1970s bush means a full triangle like wot they had in playboy in the 70s.
makes hips look smaller also although not needed for gwynnie

ItsYonliMe Fri 26-Apr-13 16:59:55

LeChat - had it ever gone out confused

Lighthousekeeping Fri 26-Apr-13 20:48:49

I'm glad she's like the rest of us. Probably just trims it.

ExRatty Fri 26-Apr-13 20:59:13

yy with his beard trimmer set on 4
