Here it is.
It costs a chuffing fortune.
I was given it by my mate for a birthday years ago and used it up. Couldn't justify another so wasted masses on soap and glory horrible scented glittery crap amongst others.

This gives your lizard legs a nice gentle sheen without stickiness. An amazing, slightly medicinal , smell and is also good for arms and shoulders as summer looms.

It is the best I had as present too and never replaced. Even the elemis muscle one doesn't leave such a long lasting glow. I think the older you are the cheaper it seems grin

I'm going to get some this w/e I think. My legs get more lizard like each year.

I didn't like it. It smells horrible and didn't really work for me.

I rate two things for itchy legs - one is Aveeno (the oat one) and the other is a new discovery here. It's called a foot cream but says it's for feet and legs. It's excellent.

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 17:21:15

Lol. I like your price rationale nod

noddyholder Tue 23-Apr-13 17:26:23

I don't mind the smell.

The smell actually made me heave - then again, so does the smell of the S&G stuff.

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 17:31:33

I love that geranium lavender schtink

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 17:31:59

I have the aveeno one in a pump. Not greasy enough

There's a better Aveeno one than the pump one. Hang on; will try to find.

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 17:33:43

Cool. Although am sucker for a pump

This one smells of playdoh

This one

Just seen that they do an oily one too.

noddyholder Tue 23-Apr-13 17:34:19

The elemis one is good for aches if you are your feet all day but also not oily enough but does work for tiredness. I might have to get this one again

'Limited edition designed printed box to mark the Diamond Jubilee and our British heritage'

Eh? Do people actually hang onto old bottles and containers because they look pretty?
hmm

ItsAllTLAsToMe Tue 23-Apr-13 18:02:57

Remus, I think I have some of that upstairs! I should try it - my legs are hideous. Sometimes, if I have a bath, they crack a little bit because they're so dry blush.

Liveinthepresent Tue 23-Apr-13 18:23:47

Does it make pale legs presentable enough for bare legged outings ??

coffeeinbed Tue 23-Apr-13 18:31:18

Weleda Sandthorn oil is lovely - it's a bit golden as well, so gives you a nice sheen and a lovely smell.
Cheaper than the ThisW.

eedibops Tue 23-Apr-13 18:44:15

Weleda sandthorn is great coffeeinbed lol love the name lol i use this one and i love the smell xx

Fluffycloudland77 Tue 23-Apr-13 20:00:55

I saw that in tk maxx ages ago.

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 20:28:43

They do have their stuff. I've never seen the leg one

LetMeAtTheWine Tue 23-Apr-13 20:30:47

Does a little go a long way? Am a sucker for buying cosmetics but am wincing at the price tag...

EleanorFarjeon Tue 23-Apr-13 20:37:31

I'm tempted as the bony bits on the fronts of my lower legs are lizardy.

I'm concerned re pong though. Does it smell anything like 8 hr cream? If so, I'm oot.

WishIdbeenatigermum Tue 23-Apr-13 20:38:30

Mmm very tempted as beneath the hair mine are very dry. It's cheaper here too.

knitknack Tue 23-Apr-13 21:46:29

If you look at the ingredients list it's mostly jojoba and coconut oil with macadamia, rose hip seed and eve primrose oil plus a load of aromatherapy oils - you'd prob get similar results with some of the first two oils for about a fiver on amazon!!

It smells even worse than 8 Hour cream imo.

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 22:32:39

Yes. Or look at tl maxx

Works on dragons, too dragon

LadyMountbatten Tue 23-Apr-13 22:33:30

Remus!! No
way

UterusUterusGhali Tue 23-Apr-13 22:59:58

I saw an episode of embarrassing bodies once where a lady's legs were so dry they looked like tiger bread! envy

She cured it with deprobase & cling film every night.

As a result I slather that or aqueous cream on nightly, and cannot eat tiger bread.

We have dragons? Why? Where? How?

LadyMountbatten Wed 24-Apr-13 20:04:39

My legs get lizards lives in extreme cases

LadyMountbatten Wed 24-Apr-13 20:04:46

Lines.

EleanorFarjeon Wed 24-Apr-13 21:08:26

I've ordered it - so easily persuaded. I've also ordered some sandals from Bertie after a thread about horrid M&S shoes had a link to the Dune website.
