Sailormercury Wed 09-Jan-13 19:32:56

Cath Kidston satchel with horses on. Ds is only 4wks so I need to carry a lot of stuff at all times and it has lots of internal pockets for gadgets.

Dinosaurhunter Wed 09-Jan-13 19:36:52

Hobbs Bramley bag in tan - I love it

I am currently using this little beaut

Falling into your requested category I have this, this, this or this - was all about the cross body last year blush

MarshaBrady Wed 09-Jan-13 19:38:07

Céline trio in orange.

Love it. Light with long strap. Tempted to get another one in raspberry.

2madboys Wed 09-Jan-13 19:39:18

Brown John Lewis Weekend cross body satchel which I got in the sales. Not on their website but if you put that description into google images it's the middle one on the top row. Reduced from £120 to £49 in the sales. Very chuffed with it grin

I can attest that Marsha's Celine is indeed very lovely envy

MarshaBrady Wed 09-Jan-13 19:55:54

Can't wait to see the Rocco in the person Amber grin. Hope your other bags aren't getting too jealous.

Such a good buy.

Kipling Adomma- lots of pockets for all my rubbish very important stuff.
Shoulder strap and handles.
Machine washable.

LillianGish Wed 09-Jan-13 20:03:39

Just got a long-handled Longchamp pliage in navy - loving it. Can fit loads in. Not strictly a handbag in the true sense of the word, but excellent for day to day use and goes with everything (red, green, blue even black!)

Floralnomad Wed 09-Jan-13 20:09:02

Kipling Enora , quite roomy and practical and a long enough strap to go cross body .

Hobbs camera bag. It's a shoulder bag and suppose could be cross body but I don't like cross body due to big norks. It's also teeny tiny (so I have to be very disciplined!).

Stella McCartney grey falabella foldover/tote, christmas present from lovely DH. I did spy someone with a gorgeous little Celine bag yesterday and was a bit envy but it would be too small for me with all the junk I seem to have to cart around

I love those Falabellas sleep - gorgeous bag!

Shesparkles Wed 09-Jan-13 20:24:54

I'm using this one which my sister have me for Christmas, and I'm loving it! (And also pretending its not now half price)

MirandaWest Wed 09-Jan-13 20:25:50

Fake Cath Kidston satchel type thing

HousewifeFromHeaven Wed 09-Jan-13 20:26:23

Ooh ooh I got this as a Christmas pressie. Not across body I know, but lovely nonetheless!!

SassySask Wed 09-Jan-13 20:27:19

Hermes Garden Party or Victoria Beckham Harper (just because I love her!) and can hold alot!

E320 Wed 09-Jan-13 20:29:18

Cannot link but I have a navy & a black Picard bag. Quite big, can fit small laptop, iPad etc. into one side. Good pockets for phones etc. Cost about €150 each.

Amber If you ever want to sell that MaxMara, can I be first on the list? smile

I have an Osprey cross body in pinkish dark brown crocodile effect, and a burgundy tote bag from TKMaxx this but burgundy

I am in need of a blue bag. (stares hard at Amber)

HousewifeFromHeaven Wed 09-Jan-13 20:32:38

I looooove a nice bag. I mostly dress a bit slovenly, but I always carry an expensive bag!

buttercrumble Wed 09-Jan-13 20:35:10

Im using my Orla Kiely Margot bag. I love it....

Talisin Wed 09-Jan-13 20:35:26

This www.blondiemania.com/shop/shoulder-bags/petrolina-bag which I got for Christmas and love love love (although it isn't strictly speaking a handbag or cross body, sorry).

starfleet Wed 09-Jan-13 20:43:35

Mulberry Somerset in dark brown. My favourite Xmas present grin

Decameron Wed 09-Jan-13 20:46:45

This bag is my favourite as it's cross-body.

Mariella in Aubergine from peony and Moore. It's my new favourite bag of the month. I have big norks and this is fine because its even bigger.

whatyoulookinat Wed 09-Jan-13 20:53:44
QueenCadbury Wed 09-Jan-13 21:48:29

A black leather satchel from gap. I love it as it fits all the usual toddler paraphernalia but I am envy at some of your gorgeous bags.

PoppyWearer Wed 09-Jan-13 21:53:20

Am alternating a small Cath Kidston cross-body bag (red) and a Boden metallic satchel, also cross-body. Has to be cross-body for the school run.

Both a few years old so no links. Alternating has at least made them last.

<pines for luffly Karen Millen and Tod's shoulder bags in loft>

squiby2004 Wed 09-Jan-13 21:54:29

Mulberry black and nikel bayswater smile

madammecholet Thu 10-Jan-13 10:07:17

Same as Toughasoldboots Mariella in last years pink from Peony & Moore.... it's making me yearn for spring in this chilly foggy depressing day ;)

JumpHerWho Thu 10-Jan-13 11:40:13

This crossbody for day to day toddler stuff, and this Celine job in tan for when I can do a shoulder bag.

Bertrude Thu 10-Jan-13 11:48:48

I'm alternating between two at thd minute. Today is a mulberry holiday bayswater which is smaller than normal bayswater and is cross body. Tis dark blue

Yesterday was a cement coloured Marc Jacobs one which I think is called the classic. Love that one. Has long cross body or over shoulder strap plus shorter handles to use as tote

ByTheWay1 Thu 10-Jan-13 11:48:53

Rowallan do many cross body, leather bags - really nice.

Annianni Thu 10-Jan-13 11:53:00

I'm alternating between 3 bags at the moment, a red dvf drew bucket tote bag, a russell & bromley brown cross body bag and an ancient prada messenger bag.

fanjolina Thu 10-Jan-13 11:59:43

A Fendi Toujours made of stingray - it's divine

HyvaPaiva Thu 10-Jan-13 12:09:49

The Lalla Habibi in delicious chocolate leather, a gift from DP when we were in Marrakech last week. He also gave me the Lalla purple clutch. So delighted with them and very grateful to my DP for his great taste and divine gifts!

iMe Thu 10-Jan-13 12:14:46

Oushka Dover in tan grin

Dawndonna Thu 10-Jan-13 12:15:22

Currently using this
Absolutely love it, plenty of room, gorgeous soft leather, adjustable strap, lots of pockets and it zips inside. They do other colours too.

suntodayplease Thu 10-Jan-13 14:39:14

LimelightsontheChristmastree Thu 10-Jan-13 22:54:41

I have three on the go and all are cross body. I've got:

(1) A yellow Cambridge Satchel Company satchel
(2) A medium Radley pocket bag in green
(3) A completely knackered red Kipling bag which is big enough to fit my essentials plus a nappy and some wipes and small enough to not get in the way. I found it in a cupboard - can't remember buying it but I think I've had it for 10 years!

samlamb Thu 10-Jan-13 23:27:09
tethersend Thu 10-Jan-13 23:37:32

Just received a Peony and Moore Celia bag which I think I really like, although it isn't tan. Blatant Chloe copy, but fuck it grin

Had thought my bag quest was over when the amazing Shirleysharpeyes found me the Nat & Nin Angie but it is so very different from the pics that I have to send it back sad

Jaeme Fri 11-Jan-13 00:06:27

Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Voyage Satchel.

A rosseti tote bag that cost about thirty dollars. My jaw is dropping at some of the prices quoted here!

Monty27 Fri 11-Jan-13 00:27:26

A Primark red handbag my sis bought me for xmas. I love it.

I can't do link as their website doesn't show it smile smile smile

libertychick Fri 11-Jan-13 00:27:59

Alternating between Peony and Moore Lucia in black which they don't do any more so can't link and this Radley bag

Love both of them.

libertychick Fri 11-Jan-13 00:29:59

I would like to buy this but really cannot afford to spend any more ATM...

notjustamummythankyou Fri 11-Jan-13 07:31:38

I've just bought the very same Radley bag, libertychick. I've got it dark brown - £83 from john Lewis. Very pleased!

DonaAna Fri 11-Jan-13 07:38:24

My taupe Miss Dior almost exclusively.
A beaten-up vintage satchel on rainy days.

Ginger not sure that was the right link!

GingerLemonTea Fri 11-Jan-13 09:25:36

Amber, no its not right! Handbag much more compact. Weird, was sure it worked last night!

MaryPoppinsBag Fri 11-Jan-13 09:30:03

Cath Kidston over body small satchel in Notting Hill fabric.
It's small but I can fit in my diary, phone purse and cosmetic bag. and none of the other shit that was in my previous handbag

daisydoodoo Fri 11-Jan-13 10:09:22

Cath kidston spotty velvet across body or marc Jacobs stella for mum days and currently my oak bays water tote for work

FreshLeticia Fri 11-Jan-13 10:20:50

A Radley Whitmore drawstring bag in ivory is my summer bag, a mulberry Alexa in tan and but just bought this in the sale

BensonBunny Fri 11-Jan-13 12:40:49

I have this which I love, then have this in a chocolate colour which came with a long strap if I need something more versitile.

chipstick10 Fri 11-Jan-13 15:11:41

Mulberry regular alexa in oak.

ShirleySharpeyes Fri 11-Jan-13 16:27:29

Oh Tethers, I am so disappointed for you....I was wondering if Angie had arrived yet. Was the colour very different or the shape? Might reconsider my new purse options now.

I use the green version of this daily and sometimes swap for Mimi Berry Musette in tan. I love Mimi berry bags - the quality of the leather is amazing and I'm currently trying to justify another, in violet.
My work bag (I go out on site often so need an all weather bag for lugging files) is either an Anorak satchel or a huge, ancient suede Mulberry bag that was my Mum's (circa 1980's when she last had some spare money).

nowrinklesonamelon Fri 11-Jan-13 21:38:35

I 've just been given This for my anniversary / early Valentine suprise - and love it! Medium size, soft leather and a good sort of everything bag -- already transferred all my rubbish treasured things into it ready for work on Monday .. well done DH smile - for a change!

Porkster Fri 11-Jan-13 21:43:32

I have this Osprey bag.

It's gorgeous and practical and looks good, I really love it and it gets loads of comments.

Bottles76 Sat 12-Jan-13 13:20:24

Oh dear... your question has just made me realize i have become a Peony and Moore addict! I mostly use their Olivia as a smart across the body bag... Leaves my hands free to push my DS's pram (My brill Pacapod nappy bag attached to the pram handle carries all his gubbins!)

Last summer i was using their Lucia in camel (xmas presie Dec 2010 and still looks gorgeous!) but I'm now also using the Eva which i got for christmas 2012!! They keep sending me email fliers and damn it i lust after nearly every new bag they bring out!! Suppose it makes life easy for my DH wink

missmartha Sat 12-Jan-13 13:54:33

Spike and Sparrow brown leather satchelly thing.

Love it, big and roomy for all my crap.

AlwaysSleepingBeauty Sat 12-Jan-13 14:48:14

A black patent vintage bag with gold metal edging, I love it, and I've had so many compliments on it. It was only £20 too which was a definite bonus!
