you are a genius!

I bought one on saturday and my feet are like a baby's bottom!

It doesnt feel like its going to be much good but oh my word it's a wonder of science!

Thankyou kind person thanks

littledolly Sun 25-Mar-12 12:44:26

I can't find it in any of the Boots near me & am really dying to get one now!!

lololizzy Sun 25-Mar-12 14:25:30

She is and I told her so! I have new feet and I love it! And i'd tried every one under the sun. I used to buy the cheapie ones sometimes once a week thinking would get better results! (it didn't). Call me shallow but I am really cheered up by how good my feet look and feel even if no one else notices!

Byeckerslike Sun 25-Mar-12 15:56:56

Lolo, me too, i have beeeeeautiful feet now, it makes me smile! Can you get one online littledolly?

Pinot Sun 25-Mar-12 16:46:12

It was shiney I think smile

MsNorbury Sun 25-Mar-12 16:48:22

i have women who do.
I dont DIY

MrsCampbellBlack Sun 25-Mar-12 17:00:34

It was Shiney and it is fab.

And lordy - had so much dry skin after a couple of days in sandals.

I hate people touching my feet so pedicures are hideous for me.

VivaLeBeaver Sun 25-Mar-12 17:01:31

Is it better than the pedegg?

redglow Sun 25-Mar-12 17:02:48

Urgh I would hate anyone touching my feet. Yes it is a good foot file

cybbo Sun 25-Mar-12 17:06:23

I've outgrown the ped egg although the collection of foot dust was grisly and satisfying to scatter from the loft window

Am on a Body shop bog standard file atm and its okay but I think I might have worn it out

Byeckerslike Sun 25-Mar-12 17:08:35

Viva its so much better than the pedegg, i have one of those too blush i am obsessed! The pedegg i found was like a grater but didnt actually smooth iyswim.

I dont like people touching my feet either!

Byeckerslike Sun 25-Mar-12 17:09:36

Ps thanks Shiney, you have worked wonders on my feet... You... Personally! Ha! grin

shinecrazydiamond Sun 25-Mar-12 17:39:37

oh don't mention it. Was my pleasure grin

I am only amazed that it didn't make 'mumsnet recommends' as everyone who used it loved it.

In fact, I may have a little go tonight. Livin' the dream!

Byeckerslike Sun 25-Mar-12 17:49:34

Quick question though, what do you use the little file for? The one built into the handle? <mind boggles>

shinecrazydiamond Sun 25-Mar-12 17:50:34

I am still unsure and haven't used it. Some people were saying for toes [ eeeekkkkk! ] or just random small bits.

Byeckerslike Sun 25-Mar-12 17:52:40

Toes?? shock

Ok, if i come up with a use for it i will report back!

sobenobu Sun 25-Mar-12 19:17:44

My little toes are shaped like triangles, so I file the top of them!

boxoftricks Sun 25-Mar-12 19:43:05

have you heard about the secret compartment in the handle. out comes a toe buffer...

boxoftricks Sun 25-Mar-12 19:43:32

....oh. NOW i read the whole thread and see that people have!

lololizzy Sun 25-Mar-12 19:45:02

is great for the sides of my big toes, which get really dry

lololizzy Sun 25-Mar-12 19:45:17

the little pull out bit, i mean

shinecrazydiamond Sun 25-Mar-12 20:10:00

Am I the only person here with normal toes? shock

BackToBligg Sun 25-Mar-12 21:36:15

I got one too. Thank you Shiney. Mine were in a right old state.

Grockle Sun 25-Mar-12 21:38:31

I can't find one anywhere round here either angry

iloveblue Sun 25-Mar-12 21:41:37

Ooh sounds good. Think I may have to try it out. Is it this one?

BelleDameSansMerci Sun 25-Mar-12 21:43:22

I got one from Boots online - had to search under Soap and Glory Accessories. Ordered Thursday, arrived Friday. It's a wonder.

EnsignRo Sun 25-Mar-12 21:50:46

It is truly a wonder, even got one for my mum. Best thing I've learned from mumsnet, and that's saying something!

shinecrazydiamond Sun 25-Mar-12 22:03:51

Blue - yes, it is that one.

lololizzy Sun 25-Mar-12 23:35:21

have been doing just a little buff each day, and go to bed with Soap and Glory foot cream on..these seems to be enough maintenance now...they've stayed supersmooth despite tons of walking

TheWisdomOfSolomum Mon 26-Mar-12 10:19:08

I tried to order online but had problems with signing in. Scoured Boots today, even looked in most obscure places but no luck, asked very nice lady if they had it. They don't stock it but have ordered one in for me. And the sales assistant is ordering one for herself.

VivaLeBeaver Mon 26-Mar-12 10:23:26

It won't let me order it online, page keeps crashing.

TheWisdomOfSolomum Mon 26-Mar-12 10:30:21

Oh and thanks (in advance) for the tip Shiney x

TheWisdomOfSolomum Mon 26-Mar-12 10:31:57

That's the problem I had Viva, but if you can get to a store they will order for you.

TheWisdomOfSolomum Sat 31-Mar-12 00:01:36

Wow! Just Wow! Used mine for the first time tonight, I can't believe how much came off my feet - and I had thought they weren't too bad!

My DD walked into the room and asked "Who spilled all that flour on the couch?" blush

So a big thank you from me too.

littledolly Sat 31-Mar-12 07:53:02

I ordered mine online & have just had a text to say its in store for me to collect. Can't wait - will use it & report back later.

jetstar Sat 31-Mar-12 08:10:08

I rushed out and bought one on the basis of the last thread and totally agree that it is amazing. There can't be too many mners in our town as there were a few left on the shelves. It's so lovely to have smooth heels smile
PS. Glad someone else has triangular little toes blush

whitelillies Sat 31-Mar-12 09:00:23

I just got one of these and used it last night... It s great. grin
Now I think I might have to get some nice sandals to show off my smooth feet !
Thanks shinny biscuit

Msarsebiscuit Sat 31-Mar-12 09:20:37

Me too, thank you Shiney, my feet are smoother than Nigel Havers coated in Teflon. I shall be buying one for my sister this week.

Misssss Sat 31-Mar-12 09:36:12

I had one based on the hype from the other thread, Best thing I hve ever used for my feet. I went to go buy one for my friend yesterday in a Boots in a small town I was driving through. Couldn't find it on the shelf so I asked an assistant. She immediately remarked, "Oh! The one from mumsnet, its amazing!" and took me straight to it. I was wearing my mumsnet scarf at the time so it probably gave the game away but we shared a knowing smile.

issimma Sat 31-Mar-12 09:43:30

It's out of stock online. Power of mumsnet! Will check my teeny branch later smile

TheWisdomOfSolomum Sat 31-Mar-12 11:06:07

Issimama ask them to order it for you if they have none in store.

shinecrazydiamond Sat 31-Mar-12 11:25:19

Do you know - I don't think there has been one bad review of this yet ? Wow - there's a thing - mumsnetters all in agreement

MrsCampbellBlack Sat 31-Mar-12 11:26:19

I'm addicted to filing now - do it every day without fail.

And yet it still hasn't made mumsnet recommends . . . .

sobenobu Sat 31-Mar-12 11:33:39

All the Foam Call (the freebie) was out of stock in my Bootssad, lots of files thoughconfused

TheWisdomOfSolomum Sat 31-Mar-12 11:47:16

I can't believe what a difference it made, and it was so quick and easy to use. No arm ache! I covered my feet in cream, and wore socks to bed last night and this morning they are like someone else's feet.

Now I just need to sort my toe nails out and I'm good to go. smile

FelicityKendalmintcake Sat 31-Mar-12 15:39:41

Bought this last week and it's fab, thanks Shiney.

I love the design of it - very ergonomic and easy to use.

Just wondering how long it's going to last, whether it will get blunt. Might take a look at that Sainsburys one someone said was the same, but cheaper, for a back up.

issimma Sat 31-Mar-12 17:58:42

My local boots had LOADS in stock. Will get on with the task later!

rococopops Sat 31-Mar-12 19:11:05

Bought this yesterday...one word...amazeballs

whackamole Sat 31-Mar-12 19:25:50

This is all the encouragement I need - saw them yesterday in Boots!

Snowinsummer Sat 31-Mar-12 21:57:09

One of my best Mumsnet purchases (also bought the foot cream which is divine). As effective for your feet (and mine are gross) as The Shred is for your body.

UnrequitedSkink Sat 31-Mar-12 22:01:08

And it's EFFING out of stock on Boots! Again! angry

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney Sat 31-Mar-12 22:10:18

shiney you should get commission! Or some bright spark at soap and glory should send you a luvverly basket of goodies as a thank you at least .... Come on PR people she is doing your job for you!!

issimma Sun 01-Apr-12 09:30:41

Love it! Very satisfying 5 mins spent sloughing away and can now wear my flip flops without being haunted by the thought that someone will start an AIBU about my skanky feet!

JulesJules Sun 01-Apr-12 15:53:51

Ooh I might try this if it ever comes back into stock. My chiropodist <ponce> does not approve of Pedeggs, says they are too harsh and get a foot file instead. Was flirting with this thing but it is no longer on special offer, has gone up £10!

Oho Sun 01-Apr-12 16:44:39

I bought mine last week. Actually gave a little squeak of muted joy when I actually found it in Boots (with the loofahs - not in the Soap & Glory or footcare sections).

Love it.

MsNorbury Sun 01-Apr-12 17:01:17

I of horned hoof fame have one I haven't used yet. Which side do you use?

MsNorbury Sun 01-Apr-12 17:02:14

Is it obvious ?

MrsCampbellBlack Sun 01-Apr-12 17:07:30

The very bumpy side first.

SoThisisMe Sun 01-Apr-12 17:10:34

I got one last week, I love it. Thanks Shiney!

Yes MsNorbury, the side you use first is much rougher, the other side just for a final polish smile. Can't go wrong.

shinecrazydiamond Sun 01-Apr-12 19:38:27

Yes MsN - tis v obvious. The smooth side is more...polishing? Umm, shining, maybe? Not sure how I'd describe it really. And, as you're here, what is the make and name of that bright coral nail polish please?

shinecrazydiamond Sun 01-Apr-12 19:39:15

PedEggs are really horrible things. They grate your feet in a hideous way.

MsNorbury Sun 01-Apr-12 19:44:20

Oh hello loveky. Did I photo it on twitter ?
My faves ATM are orly hot shot (v bright)
OPI "lights ahead" (or similar) from
Holland range.
Or today's is revlon bikini bottom or something. Is orangey red.
There's also a nice poster paint red one by orly. Will google. Brb

MsNorbury Sun 01-Apr-12 19:46:55

Orly haute red.
Basically my nail woman said never ever do pearlised

ninja Sun 01-Apr-12 19:48:41

Checkout this do you reckon she found the same thing?

shinecrazydiamond Sun 01-Apr-12 19:49:15

Yes, I saw it there and , although I don't usually like anything veering towards coral, I loved it...it was 'hot shot'... am off to order now!

No pearlised you say? I'm not a fan - think it makes your hands look odd. My absolute favourite is Chanel Pirate..although I know Chanel is not favoured on here,

MsNorbury Sun 01-Apr-12 19:50:56

The hot shot is CRAZY bright.
Teenagers go wild for it. Is most commented on colour ever.

littledolly Tue 03-Apr-12 08:39:41

I used mine on Sunday and honestly I was buffing away for ages - hadn't realised how bad my feet were! Put vaseline on my feet with cotton socks that night and woke up with perfect feet yesterday morning! I absolutely love it. I normally go for a pedicure at the start of the 'summer' to sort my feet out and they try to maintain it for a few months, but with this, I can just do it myself.

However, I can't help but wonder if my purchase and use of the foot buffer in getting m feet summer-ready has contributed to the return of the winter weather hmm

PelicansYawn Tue 03-Apr-12 14:36:03

Got mine this morning and am a very happy camper, both with the results and the free Body wash ( had to buy a little pot of body butter to get over the £10 mark but well worth it as I applied it to my newly-filed paws).

Do have a good poke around the shop, they weren't in the Soap & Glory section, nor the foot care section, think they were up the aisle with the wash bags etc.

Got mine this morning too. And the foot cream, and my freebie bath stuff. Trying to get dd2 to sleep now so I can start grating grin

And yes, they were with the washbags hmm

Oh. My. God. Seriously, what, 2 minutes each foot. My hooves now look like this

It's bloody marvellous. Can't wait to go to bed and put the cream on.

pocketandsweet Wed 04-Apr-12 18:18:36

It is lovely.... I'm into at least my third week of fabulous soft feet.... I'm giving one to everyone I like.

Gingefringe Wed 04-Apr-12 18:26:26

Agree with pelicans - I found mine in the same section as soap bags & wash cloths in the local boots.

Looking forward to using it this evening.

VivaLeBeaver Wed 04-Apr-12 18:35:39

I had a look and couldn't find any, I found other foot files but no S&G one. Didn't look near the wash bags though.

GraduallyGoingInsane Wed 04-Apr-12 18:49:06

I've been looking almost every time I pass a Boots and haven't found one anywhere. I'm very sad.

I've tried in the Soap and Glory section, near the loofahs, near the footcare section. Will try by the washbags.

Grockle Wed 04-Apr-12 18:51:49

I've looked in my local Boots but to no avail. Oddly, I didn't think of looking with the washbags (only foot care, nailcare & the Soap & Glory section). I will look tomorrow and will be disappointed if they don't have one since the website is still out of stock.

MsNorbury Wed 04-Apr-12 18:52:56

day two

still undwerhwlmed

spewgloriousspew Wed 04-Apr-12 20:15:42

I have feet of doom. Minging. And can't find one of these for love nor money...

Rexy Wed 04-Apr-12 20:49:35

Do you just use it after showering or when feet are dry ?

Got mine in the shower cap section of Boots

GwendolineMaryMagdaleneLacey Wed 04-Apr-12 21:05:56

I used mine dry for maximum purchase on the manky bits

I was very excited to find 6 (yes. 6) of these in my local boots.

obviously not very mumsnetty up here.

I Bought 3 of them (got to give others a chance). Yet to use mine- toddler and new born- but would like to offer 2 lucky mumsnetters the chance to buy the other 2 off me.

I had thought about trying to make extorsionate profit (there seems to be the demand!!) but would happily let them go to good homes just to warm the cockles of my heart at cost price of £8.75 plus postage. Shall we say £11?

message me if you're interested!

[oh god. are mumsnet going to burn me for selling things?!?!- i sense a name change may be required!]

Schmaffy Wed 11-Apr-12 12:34:45

Used mine - fab on the feet - well done Shiney.

But then, had a glance at my horrid dry scaly knees. Why not? thought I. Horrendous amounts of dry skin came off - twas like being in a snow globe. However, despite knees now being smoother, are also riven with crater like things across them and ridiculously dry. Arse. Any suggestions?

chipstick10 Wed 11-Apr-12 12:43:47

Someone on here recommended the one from Lloyds pharmacy, is the soap and glory one better than that?

AgathaFusty Wed 11-Apr-12 12:58:29

Apparently Soap & Glory will be re-stocking Boots in the near future - I bravely emailed them to ask grin

sparkout Wed 11-Apr-12 14:24:08

Did you all do the lemon thing before filing?!

just used mine for the first time.

oh my dear lord.

it feels like excavation!!!

this actually genuinely makes me feel happy!!

VivaLeBeaver Wed 11-Apr-12 16:56:03

I haven't found one yet, mentioned it to dh and he sandpapered my feet for me. They're lovely. Never been so soft and smooth. All the dry skin, and I had yellow hooves, has gone.

OK hands up who was it! I went into Bromley Boots and asked and the woman said she'd never heard of one but someone had been in asking for one the day before (last Tuesday). She wanted to know what it was all about.

GwendolineMaryMagdaleneLacey Wed 11-Apr-12 17:25:13

One left in 'my' boots where I got one last week. I walked past telling myself I didn't need one for each hoof. It was a close call.

PerryCombover Wed 11-Apr-12 17:36:26

I bought one ( the shame) it's brilliant

Grockle Wed 11-Apr-12 19:57:39

I found one! By the wash bags hmm as someone already mentioned. Why not with the foot stuff? Or soap & glory stuff? Or even nail stuff. Most odd. But I love it! Will try with lemon juice tomorrow.

ILoveApples Wed 11-Apr-12 21:26:31

I found two - each in a different branch. Wanted to buy one for MIL but decided against it as they both looked a bit manky almost as if they had been used. Agree with you all though tis v good!

SamanthaBrick Thu 12-Apr-12 08:09:11

It's me - shiney.

Msnorbury - you're doing it wrong wink

Still loving mine have to say

I haven't been deleted by mumsnet yet, so thought I'd quietly mention again that i'd got over excited and bought 3...

I think I thought i'd impress Lord Sugar selling at a profit but now just can't be arsed (todder, new born, yadda, yadda) and would love someone to buy them off me.

I put up a post yesterday and someone took me up on the offer (I've send hers off today) so i've still got one extra, if anyone else would like to pay me £11 for a buffer-by-post, please message me!

happy buffing everyone!

daisydoodoo Thu 12-Apr-12 14:47:16

i just stuck the sainsburys dirty works one on my food shopping order as cant get to a boots for a few weeks, so will let you know if its any good.

Thanks for the 'by the washbags' tip, I'd been looking for these every time I ventured into Glasgow but I'd obviously been looking in the wrong place! Only one left though! smile

DialsMavis Fri 13-Apr-12 20:13:21

I got one of these today, I am just soaking my vile trotters, then I will get to work- am genuinely quite excited blush. They have lots in the big Boots at Westfield

ContinentalKat Sat 14-Apr-12 09:38:29

None in Boots around here (and I looked everywhere!) and they are out of stock in Boots online. Boo hoo, I want pretty feet!!!

MustControlFistOfDeath Sat 14-Apr-12 09:50:47

Ooh ooh ooh I bought one too when I read the original thread about a month ago, I am a MN lemming my feet are transformed!

But wait..there's an extra bit in the handle...?

<goes off to have a look>

MustControlFistOfDeath Sat 14-Apr-12 09:53:47

Hells teeth, there is a 'travel size' bit in the handle, who knew!

Grockle Sat 14-Apr-12 12:10:14

Ooo, an extra bit in the handle? How exciting.

This foot buffer has to be the most poorly marketed item ever. Sold in a completely illogical place (by the washbags ffs) so that no-one can find it and it has secret parts that it doesn't tell you about. I wonder how many Soap and Glory would have sold had it not been for this thread.

Sunnywithachanceofshowers Sat 14-Apr-12 12:28:07

<goes to buy one>

I have revolting feet.

squoosh Mon 28-May-12 16:58:12

They have finallystocked these in my Boots. After months of skulking, not finding and then sulking I am now in possession of a foot file.

Can't wait to get home!

pigsmightnevercease Mon 28-May-12 17:01:35

Yes, yes, it is fab! Finally got mine the other day. DH even noticed my feet were lovely and soft while giving me a foot massage wink

Piccalilli2 Mon 28-May-12 18:39:30

I made a special trip to a very out of the way Boots after the last thread and OMG the results are amazing. But I've spent the whole weekend in flip flops so need to get grating again. I have to do it stealthily as it repulses dh.

hippoCritt Mon 28-May-12 18:43:33

I had to check my handle I hadnt noticed that at allsmile

anniewoo Mon 28-May-12 18:45:12

M&S one great. I think soap and glory overratedgrin

newtonupontheheath Wed 06-Jun-12 21:02:54

Sorry to bump an old (ish) thread but I purchased one of these at the weekend and I'm now the owner of two beautiful smooth feet grin

I might even wear flip flips tomorrow even though it's forecast rain blush

Buyonebuyonebuyone grin

soda1234 Wed 06-Jun-12 21:22:49

Still showing "sold out" on line though, v frustrating, as I have been coveting one since this thread started

janmoomoo Thu 07-Jun-12 11:05:40

Bought one! I looked in four places in Boots before I found it - as others said it wasnt with the foot stuff and it wasnt with the Soap & Glory stuff. Used three times now and I can confirm it is truly great (or grate!! haha).

But would never have found the secret bit in the handle if you guys hadn't told me!

newtonupontheheath Thu 07-Jun-12 16:06:18

They had loads in my nearest boots...so many in fact, I was drawn to them to see what was taking up so much space! I've told DP I'll treat him to one before our wedding. Coz I'm nice like that and he has manky feet grin

flynn80 Thu 07-Jun-12 17:26:26

SODA I bought mine online only last friday, dont tell me there sold out already, ended up paying £11 to get it here quicker (also due to go into labour and wanted my feet to be nice for the birthing pool (yes im weird) anyways dp threw out my lemon at the weekend so ended up using lemon juice, still works a treat, my feet are beautiful for the 1st time ever!

flynn80 Thu 07-Jun-12 17:29:13

Oh i just checked and there all sold out already, cant believe it! sainsburys also do the same range but they call it dirty works so try there for one, they sell them online but you have to buy it with your shopping, its only £5.99 there too and is exactly the same make.

i buy the body scrub from soap and glory and was browsing through sainsburys 1 day when i smelt it, i bought it for £2.99, got it home and checked the labels, exactly the same wordking, ingredients everything...

FYP Thu 07-Jun-12 23:48:27

I got one I these this very afternoon from Meadowhall in Sheffield. They had three left, although the first one in the rack looked used and dare I say greasy shock some joker must have had a go with it!

Thank you Shiney thanks

FYP Thu 07-Jun-12 23:49:25

One of these - stupid phone .

BabsJansen Thu 12-Jul-12 20:35:29

Loads in godalming , Surrey

savy57 Fri 13-Jul-12 09:45:06

I got one of these as well it is fantastic, but I defo don't have anything in my handle?

shinecrazydiamond Fri 13-Jul-12 15:36:32

Look at the very end and pull it out.

Without it, there would just be a hole!

Have you definitely got the right one?

savy57 Fri 13-Jul-12 19:30:28

Yes 100% the right one just checked back on the link to boots another member put up mines doesn't have the bit at the bottom I'm guessing it must have fallen off; there was loads when I bought mines and i never even noticed

PippiL Fri 13-Jul-12 22:55:30

There is a secret part?

Bought one last week. Tis a thing of wonder. god bless boots points card.

Do I need the cream too?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine Fri 13-Jul-12 23:21:15

Have just ordered one yes, I am a sheep

So how do you use it then? I am not au fait with beauty products.

Do you just scrub at your feet? Wet or dry? Do you need and prep/after care? Can I go too far and make my feet bleed? Will it take off my corns?

Ps I think the wee extra bit is for between your toes do people really get hard skin between their toes?

LemonPeculiarJones Wed 08-May-13 00:27:05

I am resurrecting this thread to say,

Seriously, it's like no other. I now have nice normal human people heels, rather than gnarled, crazy-paved embarrassments. After one use. Bring on the flip-flops.

Lozislovely Wed 08-May-13 06:51:01

Same here! I missed out last year as they sold out everywhere. Used it on Saturday and i now have the feet of a baby's bottom grin

bumponboardagain Wed 08-May-13 07:06:02

I bought this last year. it is amazing! I did not know about the secret bit at the end. Have just checked and yes its there! grin

GoofyIsACow Wed 08-May-13 07:14:01

Job for today... Tick!

bishboschone Wed 08-May-13 09:20:27

Is it the foot buffer??

GoofyIsACow Wed 08-May-13 09:53:38

Bish its this one smile

LemonPeculiarJones Wed 08-May-13 10:54:29

I can't get the secret bit out though. Do you just yank it?

Just gave mine their annual grating over the weekend grin

Yes, just yank it!

GoofyIsACow Wed 08-May-13 12:20:27

Yes, yank, im waiting for DT's to give in to sleep and i will be in the foot filing zone!

auldspinster Wed 08-May-13 12:35:51

I've got the sainsburys dirty works one which is only a fiver and has an identical head to the S&G one, am suddenly a bit envious of the extra bit in the handle, pretty sure my one doesn't have that!

bishboschone Wed 08-May-13 12:43:23

Thanks goofy but the link isn't recognised hmm

CoffeePleaseSir Wed 08-May-13 12:48:52

There's another bit in the handle?! I now want to go home from work IMMEDIATELY to investigate.

Would you like a little spoiler pic Lulu? Don't click if you want to keep it a surprise grin

LulaPalooza Wed 08-May-13 16:25:12

That looks ACES!

Am supposed to be going out for dinner tonight with two of my best mates. AIBU to cancel just so I can go home and play with my S&G foot file and fall in love with it all over again?

Empross76 Wed 08-May-13 18:39:23

Anyone tried that Scholl one that's advertised on telly? Looks a bit like an electric shaver?
Need to sort out my trotters for the summer - torn between that Scholl one and this Soap & Glory you're all raving about!

bishboschone Sat 11-May-13 15:07:58

I got one .. It's amazing.. Super soft feet !!

Right you lot, I bought one of these today. Am heading into the shower and then will begin the grating.

nabootheenigma Tue 28-May-13 22:29:42

Goodness - bought one of these today from Boots thinking there's no way it'd be man enough for my hooves...I now have actual human feet!

SoTiredAgain Tue 28-May-13 23:43:59

I bought because of this thread. What can I say? Feet as smooth as a baby's bottom grin

How often do you use it?

preggersbycheggers Wed 29-May-13 13:09:21

And there it is.... on mumsnet swears by!!!

ThenWeTakeBerlin Mon 03-Jun-13 21:13:21

I'm totally getting one tomorrow!

Can anyone explain the lemon juice mentioned upthread? Do you soak feet in the juice before buffing?

Euphemia Mon 03-Jun-13 22:00:05

There's a bit in the handle? shock

I just used mine yesterday - need to check!

HomelessAngua Tue 04-Jun-13 08:27:31

The lemon juice makes the residue less sticky I believe.

went straight to Boots after work yday.. and found one left. Only had time to sand one heel this morning, this foot now actually looks a different shape to the unsanded foot.. And my heel is soft. I would have loved to have sanded some more but kids were knocking at bathroom door. It is very effective and wish I had bought it to work with me so I could have another go in the ladies.

I just got the sainsburys dirty works one. I was dubious. I need a blade to sort out my feet usually and it didn't even look abrasive. Christ on a bike! The thing is so good it is worth resurrecting this thread again! My feet are tingling with joy!
