Pinner35 Thu 22-Mar-12 23:42:37

Ooh, me too...utter bargains. Thanks!

Just ordered two plus a top for £2.99! Thanks v much. smile

Valpollicella Fri 23-Mar-12 00:20:42

Sticking this on my threads im on for tomorrow. Hope they havent sold out by then....! Thank you op

oh wow... but I'm a 12 -14, anyone know how H&M sizes work? I think 10 - 12 will be too small but 14 - 16 too big?

Website seems to have broken! I think we did it whilst rushing for the bargains!

hazchem Fri 23-Mar-12 08:31:16

Oh my god i just brought 4! There maybe something wrong with me.
However should be perfect for breastfeeding in during the summer (or this is what I will tell OH)

mynameis Fri 23-Mar-12 09:01:01

Ordered 2 and some 2 pairs of shorts for ds. With postage it was less than £12 grin

Thanks for the link

cornsilksit1 Fri 23-Mar-12 09:03:13

I bought them but sent them back - they would be perfect for hols by the pool but we aren't going away this year. They are quite short. Was very impressed that H&M collect returns by courier though.

I just got 2 - thank you! Even if they're too short (I'm 6'2") I'll use them as tops

RebeccaMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 23-Mar-12 09:09:07

I've got this dress shock
I am rather 'blessed' in the norkage department and was worried, but it looks good. <twirls>

cornsilksit1 Fri 23-Mar-12 09:12:36

am wishing I'd put them away for my next hol now though....!!!

They still have them corn, I've just ordered one and a lovely pencil skirt.
My wardrobe is now full to bursting with pencil skirts for my return to work, which isn;t for 4 months!

Thank you katkouta

cocolepew Fri 23-Mar-12 09:17:56

angry they don't have my size in the colours I want, I like to wear dresses with skinny jeans sad

FoofFighter Fri 23-Mar-12 09:21:18

Why do bargains like this always happen the week before payday when my bank account is pretty much empty hmm

Anyone know when the sale ends and also what are sizes like, am thinking they'd do as maternity tops/tunics if I go up a size?

Maraki Fri 23-Mar-12 10:04:45

Bought it in 2 sizes to keep the one that hopefully will fit, and got two for my large size 22 friend, plus a plain navy blue dress for work, together with postage that was £15!! Thank you, what a bargain

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 10:06:22

omg bargain, am getting one

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 10:12:24

omg and those black satin trousers for £7.99???????
in basket

herbaceous Fri 23-Mar-12 10:31:29

I got one two. I tried to get two, but one disappeared from my basket while I was trying to find something else to top order up to minimum spend. Still, bargain!

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 10:48:31

i got one, and the trousers, and that dog bath mat for £2.99?!

doradoo Fri 23-Mar-12 11:35:43

Oh thanks for the heads up on this one - here in Germany they have them for Eur2.95 so have ordered the red and the black.

Lets hope they fit well on a dumpy, busty dwarf

feedthegoat Fri 23-Mar-12 12:11:24

Thanks, I've ordered two. I will wear with cropped leggings if they are short though I am only 5 ft 2 so can sometimes get away with shorter things anyway.

Hoping the garish shark print shorts I topped up with will suit ds's very particular tastes too!

feedthegoat Fri 23-Mar-12 12:11:24

Thanks, I've ordered two. I will wear with cropped leggings if they are short though I am only 5 ft 2 so can sometimes get away with shorter things anyway.

Hoping the garish shark print shorts I topped up with will suit ds's very particular tastes too!

They are fab, got three, the dark blue print which I think is lovely and two cream ones to dye/tie dye grin

jen127 Fri 23-Mar-12 12:41:14

Got tow and had to buy a top to make my spemd >6 pounds ! thats the first time that's ever happened to me smile
Thanks for the link

WetTheMogwai Fri 23-Mar-12 12:45:53

just bought 2 and 2 for a friend grin seeing the 'total saving £44' made my day, thanks!

lilolilmanchester I bought two of these a few weeks ago, I saw them on another forum.

I am also a size 12-14 and find H&M sizes small, so ordered 14-16's.

They took nearly a month to arrive.

Randomly, the ones they sent say size 'M' on the size tag (even though the delivery note says 14-16). However, they are pretty much a perfect fit.

So I am confused but happy

trikken Fri 23-Mar-12 13:38:29

Ordered 4 in 2 colours as this shape usually works well on me but didnt realise the other posts saying sizes are smaller thsn norm so hope they fit. otherwise I'll have to get cracking with this diet and make them fit!!

trikken Fri 23-Mar-12 13:40:12

it is annoying u have to spend 6 pounds tho. id have only got three otherwise. thsts the trick with it.

herbaceous Fri 23-Mar-12 13:56:32

Bugger. I'm a 12, and ordered 10-12. I wonder if I can lose a stone in a week?

pinkhebe Fri 23-Mar-12 14:01:35

I'm still waiting for mine, they were ordered on the 14th, but still no sign...

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 14:03:23

has anyone got the 14-16? ordered it for 34Ds + wide back

Newtothisstuff Fri 23-Mar-12 14:09:51

grin I just got 2 !!! Thanks

BornToFolk Fri 23-Mar-12 14:21:40

I've got two of these (red and dark blue patterned). They are excellent value.
I got 14-16 as I am pretty much between a size 14 and 16 and they fit very nicely. Perhaps a little on the short side for everyday wear but I got them mostly to wear on holiday so they'll be perfect. Or ideal with leggings under.

MissFoodie, I'm a 32F and they fit fine on the bust.

I may have to go and order more now...

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 14:28:38

ok great, I got the blue pattern one, I'm 5.9 so will prob def need leggings/skinny jeans, but should be fine for hols end of april smile

candytuft63 Fri 23-Mar-12 14:40:54

No matter how I try it wont accept my postcode when I tried to register.

Where am I going wrong ? <sob>

tummytickler Fri 23-Mar-12 15:05:34

I just ordered two, light blue and dark blue. Can't wait! I am a 12/14 but ordered 14/16 to allow for big boobs. I can't wait.
We will all be able to do a little secret nod to each other in the street when we see other H&M 1.99 dresses on people grin

LilRedWG Fri 23-Mar-12 15:09:30

Fabulous - thank you!

rarebreed Fri 23-Mar-12 15:14:15

I have this dress in light blue, red and black!

Great length, am wearing my blue one now with a white cardigan and silver shoes, bargain! Am going to order the other colours.

rarebreed Fri 23-Mar-12 15:15:14

Oh, and I have small boobs so have had to put a stitch in to stop it gaping.

rarebreed Fri 23-Mar-12 15:21:20

Try these codes, not sure if they still work...

9690 -25% off highest priced item
1304 - £5 off

CuriousMama Fri 23-Mar-12 15:22:30

Thanks I got 4 smile

rarebreed Fri 23-Mar-12 15:32:14

Omg, just tried those codes I posted and you can use them TOGETHER <faints>

<fetches credit card>

LilRedWG Fri 23-Mar-12 15:32:23

Why are items disappearing off my order even though I've placed it?

Fab; those codes convinced me! Items disappear when they run out; no red dresses left now.

rarebreed Fri 23-Mar-12 15:45:27

Have just bought this bag in white www.hm.com/gb/product/98327?article=98327-A got it £10.14 delivered with those two codes. grin

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 15:49:25

damn........didnt know about the codes........but I guess dress, trousers, bathmat and towels for £24 inc postage isn't bad....!

cocolepew Fri 23-Mar-12 15:56:10
pinkhebe Fri 23-Mar-12 15:58:46

Mine have just been delivered. The blue print one is very pretty print, but a terrible fit sad. They aren't flared enough for me, and made look fat and frumpy. So I shall be sending them back

DelGirl Fri 23-Mar-12 16:06:28

thanks, I got 3 plus 2 dresses for dd all for less than £14 with the discount codes. cheers

SnapesOnAPlane Fri 23-Mar-12 16:13:17

Can you link to the silk satin trousers, ms foodie?
Thanks smile

For anyone that doesn't know you can add to your order until it is dispatched and you will not be charged additional postage, so you can still add other items to your order to use the codes.

Have just added a vest for each of the dc's for a grand total of 49pgrin

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 16:24:03

er.......seem to have dissapeared?????????

ref is 85-1330

Pinkhebe Oh dear - I was hoping for flare...how do you think they'd hold up with an early pregnancy bump!? And/or, any good for breastfeeding in later days?

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 16:32:36

ok, the trousers have sold out

MissFoodie Fri 23-Mar-12 16:33:05

they were these

LackaDAISYcal Fri 23-Mar-12 17:00:18

Just bought two...not usually a dress wearer, so we shall see! but two dresses for me and one for DD and all for under £7!

LackaDAISYcal Fri 23-Mar-12 17:01:03

thanks WildThing smile

Got 2 and loads of stuff for dd came to the princely sum of£25!!!

OrangeCrushed Fri 23-Mar-12 17:33:25

aw there was a lovely little pair of boots on there that are sold out in the size i want for dd!

CointreauVersial Fri 23-Mar-12 17:40:42

Cute dresses. Problem is, I've found all sorts of goodies to add to the order (I've fallen for their evil plan.....).

Sockspence Fri 23-Mar-12 18:06:27

ooh ta! two dresses, two vests and delivery for a tenner smile

LoveBox Fri 23-Mar-12 19:51:01

Oh god.... I just went and bought SIX of those dresses in a variety of colours & sizes! Used the two codes together <faints> and got all six including postage for £10 something. What would I do without mumsnet?!

MummyAnnabella Fri 23-Mar-12 21:17:23

I ordered 4 of these a couple of weeks ago. Am size 12 and went for 10 - 12 but when they arrived said s on label. Think 14-16 would therefore be m. They were fine for price but v short so all went back. To me they were summer dresses and would need to be worn bare legged.

pluckingupcourage Fri 23-Mar-12 21:40:58

am looking at these now: would be good to have some basic dresses as I seem to be constantly changing out of messed up clothes during the summer. I am trying to work out if I can have a different delivery address than my credit card address (to work rather than home!). Can't see it on the HM faqs ...

MummyAnnabella that's right, I ordered 14-16 and they say m. I'm 5'2" so length not really an issue. If they are too short, maybe you could wear them as nighties?

dexter73 Sat 24-Mar-12 16:03:47

Just ordered 3 dresses, a towel and a double duvet set for £11.85 and £3.90 of that was for delivery confused!! What a bargain!

MummyAnnabella Sat 24-Mar-12 17:19:31

mrsbugsy ha ha re nighties. Was shame re length but at 5'7 and wrong side of 35 were just too short. That must be where they make the money by saving on material!!

MrsHoarder Sat 24-Mar-12 17:39:48

How long are they? I'm 6' tall, but in my twenties and can usually carry things off. I can see this summer being full of baby sick, so some cheap dresses that are easy to wash would be great.

trikken Sat 24-Mar-12 17:59:55

For me it doesnt matter if quite short as will be wearing them in the garden so one one neighbour will possibly see me.

stressheaderic Sat 24-Mar-12 18:32:52

Just ordered a couple of the dresses and this rather lovely bag for my holidays, plus a t-shirt for DP and a jersey dress for £4.99 for DD. Holiday wardrobe coming along nicely!
Anyone else get the H&M catalogue through the door this week? Never had that before!

stressheaderic Sat 24-Mar-12 18:33:43

It was the apricot stripe knotted shoulder bag, got it for £9.74 smile

PooPooInMyToes Sat 24-Mar-12 23:10:10

Shit. Got sucked in and bought 5 items for me including some shoes, and 3 each for my 2 children. So 11 in total! 40 quid i spent! Oops.

tummytickler Sun 25-Mar-12 02:19:31

Ah Poo I did the same, only I went back for more after I had seen the codes upthread! Bad. Hopefully they will arrive when dh is at work or he will have a moan (as i just had a moan about him buying too much running gear!)

DeepPurple Sun 25-Mar-12 03:57:36

Oh wow!

PippiL Sun 25-Mar-12 10:37:26

Ordered two in black and blue print.

I really am a size 14 though so fingers crossed will actually fit. Hoping to wear with leggings.

Gutted all you mners got to the red ones first ;)

nobutyeahbut Sun 25-Mar-12 11:50:22

I just got £62 worth of stuff for £19.71 including delivery...thanks!

trikken Sun 25-Mar-12 13:10:22

tummytickler Im hoping mine turns up whilst dh is sleeping (does night shifts) as have bought quite a few things. Admittedly all things I need. Only spends £11 though so not breaking the bank by any standard.

trikken Sun 25-Mar-12 13:11:13

Quite a few things recently* that is.

Hobs Sun 25-Mar-12 13:21:39

Marking place and hoping there are some left! Thanks for this op

Bohica Sun 25-Mar-12 13:35:26

Also marking my place

CuriousMama Sun 25-Mar-12 14:01:42

Mine are on the way apparently?

Bohica Sun 25-Mar-12 14:09:49

Thanks for posting this I now have 2 dresses and a new pair of ballet pumps on the way for £16 smile

trikken Sun 25-Mar-12 14:23:31

Mine are on the way too supposedly. Lets see how long this takes.

won't let me enter card details?? Just keeps asking for date of birth and won't even iwth the box ticked just keeps bringing me back to the same page <grr>

MsNorbury Sun 25-Mar-12 16:16:50

i like the cheapo paisley blouse, but is all sold out

Date of birth has to be like this 1201977, nothing to separate it, got me the first time I ordered from there.

NaiceAm Sun 25-Mar-12 17:09:02

Fab thank you just ordered one in light blue

Ahh, thank you, I was being a dimwit!! I could not get the dress in red or black so got it in blue and navy and wanted some ballet pumps for dd in the sale so got two pairs, 13.36 delivered with the discounts!!!

nobutyeahbut Sun 25-Mar-12 17:57:50

Same happened to me with the d.o.b - take the / out and it should be fine.

FrillyMilly Sun 25-Mar-12 21:54:39

I got 4 of these. I'm a size 12 with DDs and the 10-12 fit fine. I'm breast feeding at the moment so wear a vest underneath. I've been wearing them with tights or leggings.

Hobs Sun 25-Mar-12 22:06:42

I've just ordered 3 of these, and a pair of summer shoes!! smile

katkouta Sun 25-Mar-12 22:45:20

Youre all welcome smile hope they dont take too long or the sun might go away again!!

GoblersKnob Thu 29-Mar-12 09:40:50

Has anyone else had theirs? Mine came this morning and are really nice but too big. Am 12-14 and bought the 14-16 as I usually find H and M rather small, but these are very gappy under the arms and even my 32F's look swamped by fabric.

Good news is the codes still work! So have re-ordered more in a 10-12, fingers crossed smile

trikken Thu 29-Mar-12 09:50:20

my parcel is 'out for delivery' at present so hoping they come soon. knowing my luck they'll try and drop off in the fifteen mins I do the school run.

TooEasilyTempted Thu 29-Mar-12 10:15:28

Thanks very much OP and whoever posted the discount codes.

Both discount codes work so I got a £1.99 dress and a stripey blazer which I've had my eye on which should have been £24.99. I ended up with both items for £19.63, chuffed to bits!! grin

hazchem Thu 29-Mar-12 10:16:29

ohh maybe mine will arrive today! I hope so my pregnancy wardrobe doesn't quite fit again yet and my winter clothes are both wintery and now too big.

I'm thinking of wearing them with cropped leggings ( so the leggings end just under the knee) is this wrong?

GoblersKnob Thu 29-Mar-12 10:19:57

Will be wearing mine with cropped leggings or skinnies, I am very tall, so they don't quite work as dresses for me.

TooEasilyTempted Thu 29-Mar-12 10:21:19

I was going to see how short the dress is (I'm only 5ft 2) and if it is too short I was thinking of cropped leggings too.

hazchem Thu 29-Mar-12 10:31:50

Ok so I can wear them with cropped leggings now where to get the leggings from?

GoblersKnob Thu 29-Mar-12 11:13:31

hazchem, H&M!, you should be able to use the codes again toogrin

supernannyisace Thu 29-Mar-12 11:31:11

I bought:

4 x dress
1 x vest
1 x t-shirt top

cost to me £11.84 - including the postage! I used both discount codes.

I think the dresses will be short on me - as I am 5'9", but will be okay for summer hols - or just lazing around at home (which I do a lot of!)

Won't be delivered until mid April though. ):

MissFoodie Thu 29-Mar-12 12:28:31

my package just arrived!
THE dress is fab, as are the trousers, pink bathmat and cat hand towels

CointreauVersial Thu 29-Mar-12 13:04:40

You've trained your cat to use a hand towel?? Mine just wipes his paws on the carpet.

My parcel hasn't showed up yet....

Jackstini Thu 29-Mar-12 13:49:14

Thanks Kat for the link & rarebreed for the codes - just got 2 dresses, a pair of trousers and a top for 8 quid!! grin

blibblibs Thu 29-Mar-12 14:06:30

Just ordered 2 dresses & top for me and dress for DD all for £11 - thank you smile

Tonksforthememories Thu 29-Mar-12 14:10:33

Just ordered 2! And a load of summer stuff for the DDs. Oh well, i was planning on summer shopping tomorrow anyway! grin

MissFoodie Thu 29-Mar-12 14:18:26

the cat hand towels are so cute - I nabbed the pink heart bathmat also, now sold out, for £2.99!

COCKadoodledooo Thu 29-Mar-12 14:21:50

I'm totally envy that you got your dresses and am taking it very personally! I ordered a couple a few weeks back with some more stuff and they chose not to send them. No explanation, just left them off my order angry

Very wary about trying again!

trikken Thu 29-Mar-12 14:23:56

thats a bit rubbish. hope they didnt charge you?

trikken Thu 29-Mar-12 14:25:34

am still waiting for delivery. half an hr before I need to leave, bet it comes then.

jumpyjan Thu 29-Mar-12 21:29:53

Thanks so much for the link and codes. I bought;

3 x dresses

For DD;
2 x dresses
2 x tshirts

All for £16.09 - bargain grin

blibblibs Thu 29-Mar-12 21:32:56

Ordered mine this afternoon and have already had an email telling me they have been dispatched!

trikken Thu 29-Mar-12 21:37:01

still not come. :-( think the tracking service is a bit crap.

COCKadoodledooo Thu 29-Mar-12 22:15:36

trikken fortunately not! There'd be a few more angry in my post if they had! No, they were there on the order confirmation but not in the parcel nor on the delivery note/invoice. Weird! Hope yours arrive soon.

CointreauVersial Thu 29-Mar-12 23:43:56

I've had an e-mail to say my dresses are on their way but must be signed for, as it's a first delivery. What's the betting they turn up at school-run time?

trikken Fri 30-Mar-12 07:57:38

Glad it didnt charge u for them COCKadoodledooo.

now the tracking is saying 'held up at depot', very confusing.

hazchem Fri 30-Mar-12 08:37:22

goblers thanks for that I've ordered 2 pairs.

And today I'm wearing my red dress! With footless tights in a pink/wine colour and a long fabric necklace in the pink/wine colour with pale pink and will add a pair of sandals. It looks funky in a colour blocky way.

Dress is fab for nursing in and even comes up high enough to hide my massive nursing bra!

That's my summer wardrobe sorted now if I can find a calorie free pear cider grin

AngryFeet Fri 30-Mar-12 09:40:28

I got mine yesterday. I am a size 16 and the 14-16 fits nicely. They end about an inch from the top of my knee but I am 5ft 3. I think I will mainly wear them to potter around at home in the heat but with 3/4 leggings and a cardi they will look nice too. I have rubbish legs though so can't wear anything even a tiny bit about the knee.

Well worth the money anyway smile

MissFoodie Fri 30-Mar-12 10:09:54

I'm returning mine, it's lovely and it fits, the problem is its too short in the body: the elasticated waist sits under my boobs......!
such a pity sad

tummytickler Fri 30-Mar-12 14:17:35

Mine came today. I am 5 ft 6 and the length is ok, I also have big boobs, and it fits well (although I will wear a vest under I think!)
Weirdly only one dress was delivered even though I ordered two. I can find no record of the second dress.
Also got a duvet cover, so for £5, so will put it on bed later and see how that is!

Byeckerslike Fri 30-Mar-12 15:10:36

I ordered mine (3 colours) on saturday and they arent here, the sun has gone sad

I am worried though that i will have the same problem as missfoodie as i am v tall

GoblersKnob Fri 30-Mar-12 16:09:28

Byeckerslike I am 5'10" and the waist was fine on me, maybe a tad high. I did find them biggish though and have had to reorder in a smaller size.

trikken Fri 30-Mar-12 16:19:57

mine have just arrived i briefly tried them on and they seem fine. im 5'11 and the waist seemed fine that I noticed.

MissFoodie Fri 30-Mar-12 16:41:49

should have added I have D cup so this raises fabric also - anyway, glad they fit you!

theDevilHasTheBestMNNames Fri 30-Mar-12 16:59:12

I got mine come today. I was worried it would come when I was out but I was lucky.

I got one 1.99 dress - which is fantastic fit even with my massive breast not sure if I need leggings as is a little short I'm 5ft 6 probably going to depend on location and my mood.

Got a few other items also great. I want to go back and get more - but we away soon so four day delivery would probably miss us sad.

I'm so pleased I came across this thread.

theDevilHasTheBestMNNames Fri 30-Mar-12 17:01:01

breasts - not breast hmm

<wonders why I can't spot this stuff before I post>

puds11 Fri 30-Mar-12 17:01:39

whey just got 2 for me and 2 dresses for my daughter total of £14 including delivery! happy days
thanks for the shout

Mine came today, knee length my arse!! Nice dress, bit big but 10-12 would be way too tight. Great for over swimsuit on holiday/by pool/beach dress and at that price don't mind if I get it covered in sun cream!!

Byeckerslike Fri 30-Mar-12 17:25:18

Oh god, i have enormous norkage too, ah well i hope they arrive at some point soon!

GoblersKnob Fri 30-Mar-12 17:29:31

Don't worry I'm an F cup, (it sounds like I'm trying to dispute everything MissFoodie says blush), is not my intention, I guess they just fit different people differently.

Byeckerslike Fri 30-Mar-12 17:41:55

Thanks goblersknob... Love the name by the way!

Byeckerslike Fri 30-Mar-12 17:42:42

And missfoodie obviously! I will report back if they ever arrive [impatient]

tummytickler Fri 30-Mar-12 17:48:30

The waist was high on mine (big boobs, so the waist sat under my boobs) but actually it didn't look bad. It didn't give me that pregnant look that some dresses can when you have big boobs (I am 34F). I will wear leggings with mine though!

CointreauVersial Fri 30-Mar-12 17:58:14

Well, the parcel arrived while I was out, but seeing as I'm such a home-shopping addict I'm on first-name terms with the courier blush, so she signed for them and left them under the car for me.

I'm another one who found the £1.99 dress rather high-waisted, but it will be quite useful with leggings. However the other dress I ordered had a waist somewhere under my boobs, and with a full skirt it looked ridiculous. I'm gutted because it was lovely apart from that.

I also ordered a pretty tie-waist cardi which was also too high-waisted (there's a theme developing....), but that's just a case of moving the belt loops.

bigpants103 Fri 30-Mar-12 20:03:02

I ordered the dress in 4 colours and loved them. Will need a vest under but looked nice with leggings, ballet pumps and a denim jacket.

Also gout the navy and navy and white striped jersey blazers and they are lovely too. Work out about £17 with all the codes.

granule Fri 30-Mar-12 23:30:36

Arrived today. Lordy, they're short! Patterned one looks pretty smart but the plain beige looks it's price IYKWIM.

MummyAnnabella Sat 31-Mar-12 00:15:03

Am so surprised at people thinking these aren't short. Unless you are 18 or maybe early 20s at a push and no more than 5 foot 2 or 3 these must come up really short? There's a reason they are 1.99 no?! There is no way I would have worn mine other than at pool side in a hot country!

Is there any way of tracking your order? Mine were dispatched on Monday but still no sign. sad

trikken Sat 31-Mar-12 11:09:35

there should be a link if u log into h&m website and look on your order history clicking on the details for the order. wearing my dress today. with leggings. dh loves it. I said do you like it and he said "it makes your boobs look massive!" two thumbs up then grin

herbaceous Sat 31-Mar-12 11:25:50

Crikey. Mine just arrived. I'm a 12-14, and ordered the 10-12, which was admittedly optimistic, but it's minute! And says S on the label, which implies that somewhere there's an M and an L, unlike on the website.

So, it will be going back, if I can be bothered to go all the way to the post office for such a small return!

Byeckerslike Sat 31-Mar-12 11:27:00

Ive just logged in and estimated delivery is 9-13th april! sad

GoblersKnob Sat 31-Mar-12 11:32:50

herbaceous H&M sizing is as follows XS 6-8, S 10-12, M 14-16, L 18-20, XL 22-24.

Maraki Sat 31-Mar-12 11:39:10

Mine arrived today and they are going straight back. The waist is under my boobs, the 'dress' is actually a long top that is mid thigh and because of the high waist, I look like a pregnant whale. (I'm 5'11, 34F). Oh well, it was worth a try

jumpinghoops Sat 31-Mar-12 12:01:19

So interesting- I really do have a long body / short legs but mine arrived and are great. I'm 5"7 and the length is at most 2 inches above the knee. I do have small envyenvybreasts though-32c- and I guess this will make it hang longer, I need a vest underneath as I don't fill out cups really. I am always complaining about waists too high- but not in this case.

jumpinghoops Sat 31-Mar-12 12:02:09

God knows where the envy came from. My breasts are nothing at all to be envious about grin

trikken Sat 31-Mar-12 15:00:35

its just a shame there is no sunshine. Ive currently got my dressing gown over the top. :-(

feedthegoat Sat 31-Mar-12 15:13:15

Mine arrived this morning and look great. Length is fine for me but I am just under 5' 3". I intend to wear them with leggings anyway. I'm really pleased, thanks OP.

lurkinginthebackground Sat 31-Mar-12 20:50:39

I am torn between the red and beige one. Any advice?
I have dark hair but not dark skin if this helps!

GoblersKnob Sat 31-Mar-12 20:54:11

The red is really nice, bright true red, the beige is very beige, not cream, but again very nice.

<deeply unhelpful>

I am going to paint red poppies growing from the hem of the beige one (will either look wonderful or shit, good jub they are cheapgrin).

BornToFolk Sat 31-Mar-12 21:02:27

lurking, get red. I have both (and the two patterned ones...blush) and the red is definitely nicer. It is quite an orangey red though.

lurkinginthebackground Sat 31-Mar-12 21:05:56

Thanks. Will go for the red one.

GoblersKnob Sat 31-Mar-12 21:20:51

True the dark blue patterened one is gorgeous, if some of them are orangy red then I think that's an H&M fabric sourcing fail, mine is very red-red.

Is odd that they keep coming back into stock in all sizes and colours and that it is not available in store (I asked) am thinking it is a bit of a loss leader.

lurkinginthebackground Sat 31-Mar-12 21:23:02

I've just tried to order the red one and it is saying out of stock when I get to the check out. Oh well might try again next week.

lurkinginthebackground Sat 31-Mar-12 21:36:47

Right I have tried to order the light blue patterned one and it is now saying I have to place a minimum order of £6.
Somebody obviously doesn't want me to have this dress!!!!!

trikken Sat 31-Mar-12 21:42:45

yes. its annoying. six quid is a random amount to have to buy. id understand if it was free delivery.

trikken Sat 31-Mar-12 21:44:47

I love the light blue btw. I thought it was cloud like from the pics but its pretty flowers.

trikken Sun 01-Apr-12 13:59:59

I have put a pic of me in my beige dress on my profile . Its not the best as I took it on my phone in the mirror and I look grumpy and the light behind my head is making my hair look funny but u get the gist.

asuwere Sun 01-Apr-12 14:13:32

I've been debating these for a while, sadly red out of stock but have ordered 3 (2 patterns plus black) plus a pair of maternity leggings (£10 for the lot delivered!) so I should be set for summer - figure they should work with a bump and if they don't, I might just keep them for next summer smile

doradoo Sun 01-Apr-12 14:35:14

Mine are going back - far too gapey under the arms - couldn't wear them without a cardie on.

Length was OK but general fit poor.

Gutted - was hoping they'd be the answer to my summer wardrobe!

pinkhebe Sun 01-Apr-12 18:13:38

Having seen trikken's photo, they look better if you have boobs! (unlike me grin)

pinkhebe Sun 01-Apr-12 18:15:39

I think the size I bought (m) was too big for me (generous size 12, 32d boobs)

doradoo Sun 01-Apr-12 18:26:26

I had an L and XL (sent in error) and they were both too big - am a 16 with 34HH boobs!

trikken Sun 01-Apr-12 18:33:41

My dresses are all the same size on the label but the beige seem to fit better. I dont know if its just an illusion in that the beige colour suits me a bit more.

Two of mine arrived today, the two patterned ones, and I love them. Great fit and suitable for feeding in. My black and red ones were dispatched today too. Thanks op!

blibblibs Mon 02-Apr-12 12:15:30

Mine arrived today too, both going back. Small was a better fit but too short, medium better lenght but too big.
Ah well not to worry, the rest of the stuff I ordered was good.

pinkhebe Mon 02-Apr-12 15:02:47

I saw my first person wearing one today! If you were in Brighton, and pregnant, this morning, it looked great on you!

AngryFeet Mon 02-Apr-12 16:05:35

Wearing my red one right now with leggings and a cardie. The medium fits me perfectly (14-16) and I am size 16 with 38c boobs. Wouldn't wear it on it's own though - too short and I have fat arms grin

granule Mon 02-Apr-12 21:36:35

I wore mine today, and at 39 weeks pg it was insanely short but normal service should be resumed in a couple of weeks grin

Happily, I reckon they'll be great for BFing.

GoblersKnob Thu 05-Apr-12 10:38:21

Got my sized down ones today, so glad I swapped, the difference is from, umm, okay for 'non' days to one of the nicest things I own, they look fab, amazed as I am not usually a S in H&M.

The downside is they are a tad short now, but will still look great with skinnies or cropped leggings.

trikken Thu 05-Apr-12 11:15:55

I was surprised by the sizing as everyone had said h&m were small but mine fitted fine.

pocketandsweet Thu 05-Apr-12 13:29:49

Both of mine have gone back... They were so unflattering. I looked like a 490 year old eastern European peasant ( no offence meant to any aged Slavic peasantry who might be reading). I actually had to have a sit down and a cup of tea to restore my destroyed self esteem.

Byeckerslike Thu 05-Apr-12 16:35:03

Pocketandsweet, mine are equally hideous! I have recently lost a lot of weight and am very very impressed with my new figure, these dresses make me feel frickin enormous! sad

GoblersKnob Thu 05-Apr-12 17:21:47

Pocketandsweet and Byeckerslike are you sure they are not just too big? I looked a bit 'meh' in the 14-16, but the 10-12 is brilliant, am a 12-14.

Tbf compared to the H & M model shots I can see it should fit more like the 14-16, but the smaller is so much more flattering.

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 17:22:48

How much is the postage from H&M and what size is right for someone who is a size 12?.

I might get some stuff for cheap, but I don't know if its 10-12 or 14-16 for me? all depends on the postage costs anyway

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 17:47:50

BUMP BUMP BUMP! size 12 32 D cup in need of help here?

Someone help, size 10-12 or 14-16?????

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 17:52:32

Both of you (last two) should get the smaller one. 14-16 has M on the label. Fits me fine (size 14 with 32f boobs) possibly bit big on the top.

GoblersKnob Thu 05-Apr-12 17:58:40

PippiL did you try a S? I am 12-14 (big 12 small 14) and also a 32F, the S was so much better on.

Ryoko S definately.

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 18:03:04

Whats all this talk of S, website gives sizes 10-12 etc, is 10-12 the S?.

HaleAndPacemaker Thu 05-Apr-12 18:04:06

I ordered these at the weekend after finding this thread, and they arrived today (red & black).

They're a perfect fit (in the Small 10-12, am a 14) and very flattering for my figure.

So much so that I'm having to restrain myself from ordering duplicates... hmm grin

HaleAndPacemaker Thu 05-Apr-12 18:04:40

Yes Ryoko the 10-12 is the small.

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 18:11:07

Cheers I've ordered a red and a black and a red top in a similar style.

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 18:29:51

Do H&M not send out order confirmation emails? because I haven't had one.

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 18:38:27

Oh bugger. I never even thought to try the small (10-12).

Also pretty cheesed off cos I got the blue patterned and black cos red was out of stock. Black is a bit meh.

Now the red is back in stock... Might have to order it in both sizes!

Trying to put some (not very flattering) picks up on profile now.

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 18:52:51

Damn you mumsnetters all to hell. The bloomin red one has sold out again in the 10-12.

GoblersKnob Thu 05-Apr-12 18:53:09

I see you, but no dress (you look very like someone I used to know, which is a tad spooky grin).

I quite like the black though, I am going to reverse tie dye mine (with bleach) think it will look good. I's the beige I'm not keen on though I might paint it. My favourite is the dark blue prink, it'g gorgeous.

GoblersKnob Thu 05-Apr-12 18:53:41

Lol, they keep coming back daily, check tomorrow.

pinkhebe Thu 05-Apr-12 18:55:16

I've ordered 2 more dresses in (s). I'll keep the (m) ones and send them to charity if I don't wear them. There is also this on but I don't know whether to get it in a 12 or 14? Do H&M sizes normally come up small?

pinkhebe Thu 05-Apr-12 18:56:46

I also got the light blue one - I prefer patterns.

the codes posted early on still work

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 19:06:30

Bugger I didn't notice them. oh well it was only £12.80 with the postage for two dresses and a top, can't complain really.

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 19:13:12

I'm on now. Ew, mirror one is not good. Mirror two is fine though!

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 19:13:25

Ryoko Thu 05-Apr-12 19:53:09

I like it, I think it's a lovely looking dress.

trikken Thu 05-Apr-12 20:01:21

Very nice piccys pippiL it looks good on you, I couldnt work out how to turn mine round.

PippiL Thu 05-Apr-12 20:05:55

Thanks. Only prob is that I'm doing WW and (hoping) it will be too big soon! Should have got 10-12 but just could imagine it fitting.

pocketandsweet Thu 05-Apr-12 20:19:40

Looks very nice on you. I can't imagine that a smaller one would have been better on me- my breasts looked just massive - in an unflattering way.

Lazydaisy55 Thu 05-Apr-12 22:00:54

I have twice tried this evening to order some of these dresses, every time I get to the check-out part it tells me that some of the dresses are out of stock. Do they have these dresses in the shop?

AngryFeet Thu 05-Apr-12 22:04:43

Just ordered the dark blue patterned one to go with the 3 others I have grin. These are definitely my summer casual wardrobe staples with my leggings and cardy.

NoBunnyYeahBunny Thu 05-Apr-12 22:09:19

Mine came today and will be fine with leggings...got three tops and a cardigan for £19.00 using the discount codes on this thread.

Thank you OP!

One blue dress for me, two hats, two cardigans, a skirt, two dresses and two t-shirts for dds holiday all for £23! Very impressed!

tummytickler Thu 05-Apr-12 23:27:50

I liked my dress so I have just ordered more! (and more clothes for dc!) The duvet set was rubbish - only one pillowcase with a double duvet set! Going to use it for craft stuff as the pattern is nice.
The codes are still working too -

9690 -25% off highest priced item
1304 - £5 off

PinkPolkaDots Thu 05-Apr-12 23:47:06

Is this the Mumsnet dress? grin
Ladies will give eachother a knowing look when they are out and see someone in this dress? wink

Ah just went and added a black one and two other tshirts for the girls. Must step away from the iPad or I'll have no spending money for the holiday.

pluckingupcourage Fri 06-Apr-12 00:27:23

www.hm.com/gb/product/96997?article=96997-A#article=96997-D has anyone seen this one in real life?

Byeckerslike Fri 06-Apr-12 11:49:22

Wow pippil that looks great, im thinking they are probably too big then, i wonder hmmm

My dresses arived this morning and one is feeling pretty pleased with my 'mumsnet' bargain.....thankyou!! Off to search out some more bargains grin

trikken Fri 06-Apr-12 12:58:50

The beige is definitely my fave. :-)

Ryoko Fri 06-Apr-12 16:18:49

To those saying the red one is out of stock during my order the delivery date changed for that one, delivery for it is 27th so I guess that means it's back in stock then.

Thankyou rarebreed for the codes I have just got the navy patterned dress, 2 tshirts for my sons and a pair of swimshorts for one of them all for £11.36 so thats me happy, happy, happy grin

startthefansplease Fri 06-Apr-12 21:40:43

Am I the only one who got carried away and spent £40+ blush
Thanks OP for the heads up grin

Nope not just you I have went back twice and spent £37 (and a further £10 in store today)

NoBunnyYeahBunny Sat 07-Apr-12 09:06:27

Has anyone brought this?

Just ordered with a plain white top and got them both for £12.63 including delivery.

lurkinginthebackground Sat 07-Apr-12 17:54:35

I have finally managed o order the dress, well both of the patterned ones to be precise. Plus some swim shortd for ds and a random make up brush!

Scootergrrrl Sat 07-Apr-12 18:03:55

pluckingupcourage I have that dress in the small size (am normally an 8 and only little). It's really flattering. Quite short, I imagine, on anyone over five feet two though. The pattern is very pretty too.

pluckingupcourage Sun 08-Apr-12 02:43:02

Ooh thanks Scootergrrrl I had wondered what the material is like IRL. Luckily I am short so often things are too long for me, sounds like it would be a good buy. I thought about getting the blue or the patterned one - sounds like the patterned one is v.pretty.

Scootergrrrl Sun 08-Apr-12 06:49:25

The material is quite heavy and drapey and a bit stretchy. Such a command of language I have grin

katkouta Mon 09-Apr-12 22:30:24

So glad we all have summer dresses thanks to me grin Mine have arrived, I got navy pattered (lovely) and beige (not tried yet). Love that the cleavage doesnt hang out as usually happens in this wrap style dress!

supernannyisace Tue 10-Apr-12 14:01:02

Yay! my parcel arrived today.

I bought four dresses - one in a small (10-12) and three in m (14-16) - all fit me okay - despite the difference in sizings. ? the length is fine. Ithought that they may have been a little too short - being that I am 5'9" - but they are just above my knee. will be great for my France holiday - very light and comfortable.

I also had a vest - a 14- and really tight ? i don't mind tight, but just surprised given that the dresses were so much looser. I know h&M sizes are a bit variable.

Oh, and a loose t-shirt - quite nice too.

In all - my bill for 6 items was £11.84 - including the p&P.

Thanks to OP for alerting us to this offer.

pinkhebe Sat 14-Apr-12 11:56:23

my second set blush of dresses arrived today, 10-12 rather than the 14-16 I'd ordered before. The fit is much better, I got the 2 different blue patterned ones. I also ordered another dress/top in a size 14 and it's really quite tight! i might have to exchange it for a larger one! Sizing is all over the place

Ryoko Sat 14-Apr-12 14:11:52

Still waiting for my first order to turn up......

Is it Royal Mail?

trikken Sat 14-Apr-12 14:45:27

oh no Ryoko thats been a long time. mine was Yodel I think, possibly Hermes.

Ryoko Sat 14-Apr-12 15:48:51

Oh great, it will never turn up if it's Yodel.

Ryoko Sat 14-Apr-12 15:59:06

Done a quick google, if you have no tracking number it's Royal Mail and takes at least a week. I have no tracking number.

DingbatsFur Sat 14-Apr-12 16:36:34

Mine were Hermes not Yodel so don't give up hope!

trikken Sat 14-Apr-12 16:46:43

Oh it probably was Hermes then.

asuwere Sat 14-Apr-12 20:03:46

My dresses arrived today - I was expecting to have to send them back but they are actually really nice on! Perfect fit and quite flattering! They do seem like they would be great for breastfeeding but I have a feeling that they'll be too over-stretched once I've been wearing them through pregnancy. For the price though, can't really complain. smile
