Monsoon sizing

I'm a size 16, I am pretty much a size 16 in all shops sizing although on a good day could prob get into a 14 in M+S. I hate trying things on in shops and generally dont need to so bought a very lovely Monsoon dress and it firs perfectly other than in the chest area, it absolutely squashes them flat and in a bad bad way as if someone was holding an invisible board up against them so I have cleavage but the rest is squished downwards. WTF???? I'm a 36DD and dont have this issue with anything else from anywhere else.

That's odd. I generally find Monsoon pretty generously sized (good for my ego on fat days) and I'm a 36E (ish, may be tending back down towards 36DD these days). Perhaps it's the particular style?

I would have also said Monsoon is quite generous with the sizes. That said, a dress I have in a size 20 from them which used to fit me very well, doesn't fit me as well now that my boobs are bigger. I thought it would still be ok because I've actually lost a stone from the last time I wore it--but am breastfeeding and now have more ample norks (38G).

It could just be my old lady 41 year old boobs being more willing to be squashed IYSWIM
