I am struggling to keep cool in this weather - so wondered what other chubbier girlies are wearing?

I am a curvy 16-18 and all clothes seem to be made for sticks! Where to I buy decent trousers that dont wear out along the inner leg where they are obviously chaffing together?

I know the answer is to slim down, but that aint going to happen over night and I need clothes to wear now as jeans are too sweaty!

Dont even dare to mention leggings or jeggings or the like as I am so not the right shape for them!

Help!!!

I am a 16/18 and I shop at Gap, M&S, Fat Face, Monsoon, Next, New Look, Primark, Wallis and White Stuff.
All do nice clothes. I have a few theories though when it comes to being bigger then most.
*Just because they make it in my size does not mean I have to wear it.
*If it is wider then it is long don't wear it.
*Tent like clothing is NOT flattering

As for the chafing, well I can't help zou I am sorry. I have the same problem.

I wear linen trousers and a fairly fitted, but not tight, top.

I like the linen trousers from Monsoon because the long ones are just about long enough and they are nice and weighty, so they don;t reveal things that shoudl stay hidden. I also have some from Fat Face and some linen crops from Boden. Shirts from Gap, blouses from Monsoon, amongst others.

no no littlegreen. She knows of what she speaks. I was an 18 last summer. This year I'm a 10. And for the first time in forever today I wore a flimsy linen skirt without thigh chafe. Liberating it is.

Coderoo - thanks! Working on that!!

Hurleysatonme - I hope to be there by end of august (not sure which year though!)

I have never really looked in Monsoon - thought it was all dresses and silky stuff - will go browsing!

Then the sun never lasts too long round here so will be back in my jeans next weekend!
