Oh I need some of that clinique stuff - have two umm brown/age spots on my cheek - may get some at the airport in a couple of weeks.

Today I bought lilac nail varnish and midnight eye pencil in topshop.

Also bought new Bobbi Brown tinted lip balm/treatment thing and some bronzer and she chucked in a free pencil sharpener.

I use Vaishaly night serum which is lovely although £££.

3 boys AND green eyes. We are twins.

BTW I shelled out MASSES for Laura Mercier primer and foundation recently. Bloody shite and a massive waste of money. Just forms nice pore-shaped white blobs, flaky blobs (and I haven't got dodgy skin promise)

I am going back to Chanel VL or cheapy L'Oreal mineral makeup now.

I did have to elbow all the 14year olds out the way in topshop though - god it took me back to the miss selfridge make up of years ago . . .

What does one do, exactly, with the gold oil? I fear looking a bit chip-pan like...

I would really like a light fake tan recommendation actually. I have tried proper ones (St tropez etc) and I look like a WAG without the expensive clothes; and I have tried the cheapish gradual tan things and look yellow.

Is there something vv classy and a good tone on pasty pale yellowish skin? That builds up gradually?

Oooh, tinted moisturiser. The MAC one is my favourite. I've tried Creme de la Mer, Laura Mercier, Dermalogica, No. 7, Virgin Vie, Nivea, and out of all of those, MAC is the one I like the most. I'm using it now, with a dusting of Maybelline mineral powder over the top. All the more expensive mineral powders were hopeless on my skin, but I quite like the maybelline.

ooh today I got a new mac shadow in one of the limited edition collections, it is called gazette grey and is very lovely slightly greenish grey with gold sparkles

now I must convince myself is OK to wear sparkly eyeshadow over the age of 30

there is a very nice matte purple in the same collection for you green eyed types
