Have been asked to be a bm, along side 3 others. We are to wear red dresses. The wedding is in a church. Three of us are 5ft10 and one is 5ft9. There is a size 10, 12, and two 14's. we have been told around £40/£50 each, so will maybe need to find the sales, the wedding is in 4 months.

We live in a small town so the shops are limited and we cant really see anything (at any price range nevermind £40).

Can anyone help?

Love the sculpture dress, but it is in a church so too short, i think it has to be on the knee. I'm going to email them out to the others.
You know i went into Debenhams today and saw nothing.

Think it is 'claret'

Do you mean the year to find one is 1985, or is there a place called 1985 i've never heard off?

Lol yes you're telling me.. We had a look around the few shops here today and could see nothing. £50 isn't much but we will probably put money too it if we find the right dress.

Thank you Laurie, that is very helpful, nice shape to that dress.

Have you had a look on here?
www.styleshake.com/default.aspx
You can choose your own dresses, different styles to suit each of you and all in the same material.

I ordered mine from www.houseofbrides.com. It's an American website and I was a bit dubious at first, but I had no problems and ended up getting four dresses for around half the price of what the same dresses cost in the UK wedding shops. My friend did the same and we were both happy with our order. You do have to factor in import tax which I think was about 30% on top of the dress costs, but you can still make huge savings.

Second styleshake, I've been to a wedding where the dresses all came from here, all different dresses to suit the different people and it looked fab!
