Is this too racy for a wedding?

Hi All,

I am not used to going to many weddings and don't get a chance to dress up much. My brother is getting married, small wedding 40 people almost all from brides side apart from us. I love this dress
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170478563221&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
, but advise me before I buy is is it too racy, too red for an evening wedding in June, and what would I accessorise with it. I would get a bolero / shrug. Help! P.s. I am 5'10 and size 10 and feel the size is good, a lack of boobs is a problem, but I hope to overcome that with a good bra.

It's gorgeous, go for it. With a light shawl.

Gorgeous. Esp for evening wedding.
Only proviso is check the bridesmaids aren't in red.
Have fun.

The back on the dress is low - will you get a good, boosty bra that sits low enough not to show across the back?

Looks beautiful.... I'd be inclined to go up a size with Karen Millen stuff though (unless you're a very small 10)

You could accessorise it with cream/nude rather than black if you wanted to make it a bit more summery/weddingy

i agree with everyone else

check bridemaids colour

get nude accesories & great bra

make sure its not too short on your - you want to look sexy not tarty

not sure shrug will work with wing things on shoulder though

I bought that dress in burgundy for my sister-in-law's wedding, so am delighted to read the comments above! I got a shrug/cardigan from Coast to go with it. I'm 5' 4 and it comes just below the knee.

I agree that Karen Millen sizes are small - I bought a 12 and am a size 10 everywhere else.

Thanks all for the reassurance. I love the idea Tillysmum about accessorising with nude or cream. I had been thinking black or mink grey, but your idea is much more summery.
I think I will go for it. Will probably post again requesting help with the accessories / shoes next!!
