I need an outfit for a May wedding plus the DCs

I want a dress for a wedding coming up. I have looked around but not been able to find anything. I want something that at least reaches my knees. I'm quite small in size and hight nothing too tight round the middle ( I still have a bit of tummy) I would also need shoes.

I also need to find something for DS1 who will be 5 and DS2 who will be 13months. Nothing over the top just simple smart casual -not a posh do.

Any ideas?

I too have been buying for a wedding but unfortunately have gone for the floaty maxi dress option as have the height (just) to carry it off - so I can not help much with your outfit.

However, when it comes to the young 'uns I always find Gap do great smart/casual clothes in the vein of Ralph Lauren but without the price tag - also I wandered past a Gap today and they currently have an offer on 'summer shirts' which I would imagine extends to kids as well.

how about this orange monsoon dress it looks like it is slightly empire line so wouldn't cut you in half around the middle
loving this one too
what kind of colour do you go for?

for your DC's how about smart trousers and shirts (try BHS) and add waistcoat for a smart look

I like the orange dress but Im quite pale so I dont think I could carry it off.

Waistcoats are sweet.

AS for colour I like light to mid blue, dark pink, Floral.
