Has anyone seen the 'Very' adverts?

Well they worked on me as I have bought this dress

Mainly because it's meant to be very flattering to curvy shapes.

It's a nice colour too...

O no the sleeves look a little odd. I'm not sure that will be flattering. I'm surprised actually, I've just had a look at the rest of the collection and I don't like a single thing. And none of it looks good on her. And if it looks like that on her, it will make me look like Margo from the Good Life.

lol, oh dear!

Although I always liked Margo's style...

Does look rather frumpy, and like the material would cling to everything.. if it doesn't look good on her, what hope do us mortals have

sorry not keen on the sleeves but you can always buy and return if it doesn't fit

Leave Margot alone. She is my style idol.

Sorry - I don't like that. And it will be very clingy and sweaty I think.

well i like it. i just ordered a trinny ans sussannah similar thing from very and have also ordered loads of things to try on, plus trainers etc for kids. Much easier than trekking into town, and cheaper, as i always end up buying coffee/ snacks etc for the dcs.

Thanks grumpypants, glad I'm not the only one who likes it!

Hope your trinny and susannah thing is nice when it arrives.

yes, v excited - I ordered joe brown dresses to try on, and a cple children's things. (Was terrified they'd arrive yesterday when dh took unexpected day off work!) Its so much easier to try stuff on at home. Hope your dress looks good - I love 70s style stuff.
