I am a new convert to the S&B boards, I love it! Anyway which online shop is best for day dresses?

M and S has tons and tons, some of which are good day dresses, I think, esp the plain ones. I have got a red and black striped one that I like though from there, reminds me of my Beano reading days!

I usually think Wallis is good for day dresses on the smart side of casual - there's a couple there that I like at the mo, but too patterny for me really at the moment.

Have just discovered Mint Velvet, which has some lovely looking things on it. Am coveting a jersey draped purple dress on there atm.

Obv Monsoon is good for dresses although wildly variable as to whether there are any to your taste!

White Stuff has lovely casual dresses usually, loved loads in the winter collection, but I'm not grabbed by anything much in the spring stuff though.

Have a look at www.asos.com - it has hundreds of dresses in all styles and budgets! Issue will be narrowing it down...

New Look is usually worth a look too, although the younglings shops seem to have nice but way too short dresses for me.

Do a search for day dresses on shopstyle.com, set limits by price and size (and even colour) and then look through the results to see which shops have things you like. That's a really useful way to find online shops you might not have thought of yourself.
