To be grey or not to be grey?

Do you think woman should continue to dye their hair when it is obvious they are grey. I am sure it has been done before but what do people think about going grey naturally.

My mum dyes her hair very dark - I keep saying (as diplomatically as possible) that she should either have it lighter or go grey (have a little grey bob I always think that looks lovely) however she says ?no I will look too old with grey hair? (she is 66). At the moment she dyes it herself and her hair is so dark it looks a bit like a wig (as my very nice DH says!!). I don?t wont to hurt her feelings but I feel I must say something. I am starting to get more and more grey hairs will probably dye to start with but think when I get to her age will go natural. I know it is hard to believe you are getting older I still like to think I am 22(!) but have told DH to be very strict with me and tell me when I look a bit silly.

I think it's a personal choice. And that women should not be so judgemental about how other women look.

I am only 42 and don't dye my grey out.
I hate this social pressure for all women to have to try to look younger -- or else we are deemed to be minging. There was a really good article in yesterday's Times about how the social pressure on women to look good (ie, youthful, which is the only way to 'look good') is making our lives more oppressive than ever.
