what shoes do I wear with my new green dress?

I have bought this dress in the Ness sale, but what shoes do I get to wear with it?

I have got the green dress, so click on the green swatch to see it properly rather than the catalogue picture of the oddly pigeon-toed model trying to walk a fabric dog .

(By the way, there's some lovely shoes on the Ness site which would go wonderfully if I'd bought the blue or pink version, but I haven't. And ideally, whatever shoes I get shouldn't be too skyscraper high)

I am not sure, what colour of tights will you be wearing or are you thinking bare legged?

Lovely dress! The colour reminds me of a great H&M dress I had last year -- I loved it but it just stood out so much. So do you have any cream or beige shoes to wear paired with a warm neutral on top or as jewellery accents? Or better yet 'nude' (argh terrible colour name) ballerinas, pumps or mary janes?

Going brighter than that I think you could wear those lovely Ness blue shoes with the green dress, especially if you have a hint of that peacock blue in a scarf or something

I have similar dress, same colour,(but had it for years) and I always wear it with bright red patent leather T bar shoes.

Red would be good, and nude is supposed to be "in" again and can be good at making legs look longer...

I have some red patent shoes actually, but they're a sling back so possibly a bit chilly for this time of year.

The heel height on the ones that Cranreuch linked to is ideal... any taller than that and I start to look like I'm in drag.

The Ness ones might be OK though, mightn't they.... hmmm... not a bad plan.

Did you see these shoes new in on the Ness site (with a green trim)?

Or were they the shoes you were talking about?

Wedges easier to walk in than heels I find;

ooh no... these were not the ones I was talking about, hadn't seen these! Thanks for that.

I just bought that dress in green too, thanks to Mumsnet guiding me there the other day.

I have already worn it with some shoes very similar to the Irregular Choice ones, but a sort of racing green, with blue tights.

I thought I might be able to team it with my purple ballet flats nd a purple cropped cardi too. Not sure about thetights there though...

I bought two tops aswell onlyjoined, blue and green round neck ones. They are fab, very stretchy.

What are their sizes like? I am a 12/14 but a bit curvy of the derriere and about 5 5.

I'm a 10/12 and bought a 12 which is a good fit in the dress and tops.
The coat I bought (the duffle, it's lovely) is quite fitted across my chest, you wouldn't get proper size 12 boobs in there, I'm only a 34b, so I would say sizes are slightly on the small side.
