How difficult is it to fake tan my own back?

I'm thinking of wearing a strapless top to go out tomorrow night but am pale and pasty.

DH is away tonight so can't help me, and cos he's not around I can't go to a friends to get them to do it - how difficult is it to get even coverage on my back? - I reckon I can manage the front and my arms but not sure about my back. I remember seeing Jordan doing it herself once before a photo shoot on Katie and Peter once which is kind of making me think it can't be that difficult........can it?

I have St Tropez mousse and gloves at the ready on your say so - what do you reckon?

Hmmm well i always get DH to do mine and i use a clarins one which is prob paler than yours too (being ginger and all!) - I'd not risk it personally! Can you not get a friend to pop round and do it - bribe them with wine!

I cant do it myself. I have ended up with a bit of a triangle below my shoulder blades !

I'd wait for someone to be around to help.

Why did I read the title as how easy would it be to fake your own death?

I have done this many times and I think you should be okay. Just try to check in the mirror afterwards to make sure you have reached everywhere and don't forget under the backs of your arms. You can never really slap it on in this area yourself either, so any mistakes won't be that obvious anyway.

Ooh fab thanks for so many responses! Right will go for it straight after DC in bed - will I traumatise DD (5) for life if I ask her to do it

If it goes badly wrong I can always wear somthing more frumpy else.

Love yojojo's idea!

Maybe tape aformentioned sponge to wall and rub up and down in manner of Baloo(?) in Jungle Book.
