i have just donated half my wardrobe to oxfam as it was sadly out of date and nothing ever went wit anything else.

so, i am going to buy some new stuff.

i think this time i should buy basics so that i need less stuff and i can mix and match instead of the usual quirky weirdness i buy lol

so , where should i buy it ? do i go with topshop or asos? or more expensive ( would be a first for me!)

i am 34 5ft 1 size 8

If funds allow, is probably worth spending a little more, as if you have fewer things, they are going to be seeing a lot of wear.

If I was starting a new wardrobe from scratch, I'd buy quite a few bits from the new White Company collection. Lovely casual pieces that will all work well together, and wonderful quality cotton.

M and S new perfect range has good jeans and basic T shirts (long sleeve) which you can then add good cardigans/jackets and jumpers with. (I've just ordered the slimm jeans and ling sleeved ribbed t-shirt).

I'd get some good boots, black and brown, I bought the clarks madison rose flat black boots recently and they make it very easy to wear skirts and dresses in winter, also get some good wool and opaque tights, M and S good again, possibly leggings to wear with jumper dresses, Topshops good for these.

Sorry can't do links...must learn.
