PCPlum - that's exactly the sort of thing. This is going to sound daft, but a friend of mine has those exact ones and she gets all funny about people 'copying' her, so I don't think I can get them (we had a daft falling out in the summer about exactly that sort of thing and I'm treading on eggshells a bit).

Does anyone know of anything similar but not the same??

Sorry, I'm sounding like a right old fusspot! I've seen some online but they only seem to be in America - quite like this sort of thing but can't seem to find them in the UK. I even like these!

same as pcplums link but in a different colour here I'm on my second pair and they are the best thing. They don't have proper soles so you feel like you're wearing bare feet.

Surely she won't mind if you're wearing them indoors? maybe you could hide them when she comes round
