Style and beauty

cheap skinny jeans - not Primarni, pls!

I need - would like, whatever - a pair of inexpensive skinnies to tide me over until I'm back in my pre-baby ones. Don't like the Primark ones, the denim is cheap and nasty and tough. Any suggestions? I am a tall pear. Thanks!

dotty ps. denim doesn't look cheap, cut is good for pears imho. choice of lengths. from around £20, they have regular 20% off events and codes lately haven't paid over about £18 for mine.

I tell you i dont givea shit what the waist looks like if there is a top over it

Uniqlo are good. Are they cheap enough though?

do you never get it on? jeans need button/fly, end of. plus elastic digs in and makes for bumps where a well fitting fitted waist doesn't

Uniqlo - between 10-30 quid depending on style

here I ordered a few pairs for same reason (will diet after crimbo!) and they are all good quality for the price

H&M jeans have always served me well, about £20-£30.

cheap = £50 or less.

Will not entertain idea of jeggings, nor of elasticated waistbands. Abominations, both. Thanks though.

only if you are fat or are wearing the wrong size surely?

i find leggings make for more of an indent than jeans, am slim and in right size thanks :P (although tbf have never been able to bring self to try on jeggings - seeing them hanging limply in all their wrinkly glory i couldn't bring myself to touch them [bleurgh])

If I ever find a pair of skinnies that fit me around the hips and waist I will certainly buy them, don't think I ever will though!

cheerfully admit that I am currently fat, a stone still hanging around after baby left the building 9 weeks ago. However even in my skinny glory would never don a jegging. They're farking horrid, even on my 8 stone, 15yo niece.

New Look skinny jeans - "disco" mine are soft and gorgeous and still going strong after almost 3 years. Wasit gone a bit baggy but a belt on solves it..

Agree about £18 Next jeggings. FEWER lumps and bumps than 'proper' jeans waistband.

Try try

agree with points - top shop baxters are fab. The next jeggings are very good too - just look like skinnies on.

Hows the de-tox going?
