This is my first post in style & beauty...hope I'm posting in the right place!

Would love some advice as to what to buy my DP - he is desperately in need of some new clothes!! He bought a couple of pairs of new jeans recently so that's not an issue, but don't think he's bought any tops for years!

He tends to wear t-shirts, sometimes with a shirt over the top. I really like it when he wears casual style shirts though so this is what I'm hoping to buy him...any recommendations? Preferably not too pricey as is just a little gift - don't want to spend too much incase he doesn't actually wear them - so no more than about £30 max per shirt?

Also any recommendations for boxers, he currently wears cheapy ones from Sainsburys/Tescos which again he's had for years, not sure how much longer I can bear it!!!

He's 22 if that helps, although with DC2 on the way I think he wants to look a bit more "grown up" as he says he feels out of place taking DD to school etc in clothes he's had since he was 16!!

Thanks everyone

Oh & preferably things I can buy online as I'm currently 7&half months pregnant and can't really face traipsing around the shops for me, let alone for him!!!

Buy him some new boxers and forget the shirt.
I have been married 22 yeras and still cannot chhose clothes for DH that he doesn't take back to the shop (or worse still, leaves in the back of the wardrobe and never wears)

Go together in the sales in jan and buy him a couple of shirts then

Hi Minimilk, I've just updated DH's scruffy Aussie boy look with the aid of some sharp casual shirts and a bit of fine knitwear. For affordable stuff I'd look at John Lewis (although my DH is a bit older than yours). They have a range of cool stuff that isn't too old-looking. I got a merino cardi in a teal colour- looks good over a Gap Tshirt and I noticed they have some cool printed shirts in vibrant colours. And they do mail order I think. HTH

Thank you for suggestions, hadn't thought of looking in John Lewis even though I get discount there due to working for the partnership, duh, blaming pregnancy brain for that one!! Think will probably have to go for some of the plainer designs though or DP unlikely to wear them, will see how much I can convert him

Can't see me making the January sales this year as DC2 due right at the start of January...will probably send DP & DC1 to them instead to give me some peace!!!
