Camper boots - found gorgeous pair - how do sizes come up?

(18 Posts)
Found the most perfect pair of boots, just need to know how the sizing comes up. Am usually a 5.5, but they have European size 38 or 39 and I don't know which one to go for... Any advice?
you need new boots you need new boots wink wink mutter mutter
damn damn damn I shouldn't have looked at this thread. My last pair of camper boots have worn out and they have exactly the same pair in stock again shop.camper.com/producto.xhtml?option=46207-003&lng=en#
I never wear heels but can wear these quite comfortably ALL day and they look fab on as well.

*wanders away muttering to herself, I don't need new boots, I don't need new boots.
well i await delivery! will let you know how they are...

christiana i have found camper have about three different styles and i am different size in each of them. have got long toes and high instep though.
Mine are brown, but are 2 yrs old, so don't know if they are still available. They are lovely, and wear very well.
Oooooh AuldAlliance!! That's interesting. I'm the same as you (6.5-7 usually). What colour do you have in the spiral helix? I thought I'd seen a brown/light brown pair but can now only find black or red online.

Sadly my curiosity is just theoretical though - I have just pressed "Confirm order" on one pair of Mol and one of Mes so that I can try both on together with my new slim leg jeans/leggings/tights and decide once and for all which I prefer.

Very nervous - my boots odyssey has been going on for a very long time. Have finally ruled out the Dr Martens wedge (lovely in theory but just not that comfy on). This will be my first new pair since 2005 (pre-children) <bites nails emoticon>
I'd agree with WayneKai, 5.5 is more like a 38 than a 39.

I have a pair of Camper boots (spiral helix ones in fact and they are fab, NorkilyChallenged) in a 39. In the UK I take a 6.5 to 7. I think 39 would be too big for you.

Those ones you are after are very nice, christiana.

In European sizing I am 37.5, and in UK 4.5 or 5. For camper shoes I usually have to go for 38. So I think you would definitely be a 39.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
