Help me with clothes,please!!!!

I am heading towards 40 and have recently gained weight and am a 14.

I am short

I need help to know what to wear.

I usually do jeans.

What can I wear for my height and size?

I am clueless and need inspiration!

Not a lot of help but as a 39 year old size 12 shortie I find that I look better in skirts. Jeans make me look shorter and fatter unless worn with heels and I am pretty useless in heels.

Smallish top half (10/12)small boobs

Big mid section (Tummy and thighs)

Slim calves,ankles and feet.

Am freak!!!

Well jeans deffo not great for a proportionally bigger mid-section. Wear skirts or dresses and show off your legs! Or maybe slim-fitting black trousers?
