I got an email from them this morning so logged on but it took me about 2 hours to buy 2 items -very, very slow.

I would have ordered more but was losing the will to live by then

Has anyone actually managed to get onto the site?
I have been trying to log on since 5pm yesterday including this morning and all I get is their version of the "BBC test card" page with "sorry we are having technical problems".

Tried at 4am and still couldn't checkout. Finally managed at lunch time and just got an email saying half the stuff I ordered was on backorder. Bit irritated as I don't know if they've charged me. May just cancel the lot and feel smug at how much I haven't spent!

I went into the shop today because I couldn't get through the site, it was too slow.

Their shops have a far better range of stuff in the sale than the website IMO.

Well worth a trip if you have one near.

Went in to local branch today and grabbed a few items but quite a lot of stock still at full price.
Jigsaw sale starts tomorrow.

FFS -after spending 2 hours ordering and paying for 2 items on the webite I got an email today saying they are on backorder.

BodenGroupie -I don't know if this means they've refunded me or not? Did you find out?

In my experience 'on backorder' means 'out of stock' unfortunately.

Theres no mention of it in the email

Hopeless- eventually got on at around 5pm yesterday and not much left.

Think they are trying to be bigger than they are and their admin/IT depts just can't cope.

They hang on to your money until you get bored of waiting for the items on backorder to arrive and phone them up to find out when the hell they will be arriving, only to find out they are out of stock! Not a fan of White Stuff customer services - can you tell?!!

I drove thirty miles to a shop today (desperate, but needs must). I had a moan about the website and they said I wasn't the first person so they were going to feed it back to their head office. They were so lovely I think they must have thought I was a mystery shopper.

Managed to get my out of stock shirt, they had loads of them.

Also spent hours on the website ordering two things, only to find one of them on backorder. I emailed to cancel the whole order (don't want to pay P&P just for a vest!) but didn't hear back; I've just phoned them to cancel it and was told that it's too late and I'm going to have to 'refuse' the package when it arrives.

Apparently if you do that, they'll contact you asking if you want a refund and will refund the P&P too...though I'll believe it when it happens!

BodenGroupie -I've just got back from a few days away but, alas, no email to say my order is on its way .

I did go to our nearest shop before going and bought a couple of tops but they didn't have the items I ordered on-line.

I'll give it a week and email them if I haven't heard anything
