Style and beauty

Not strictly S&B, but what do you wear to do the housework?

Do you just wear normal clothes? Or do you have specific/old stuff? If so, what works?
Jeans are hot. Skirts allow you to bash into things and hurt legs. Long skirts just look odd get in the way.

I seem to get so hot and bothered when doing cleaning I often just wear underwear.

I do get quite manic about it though, maybe my pace is too fast.

I wear yoga pants and a t shirt then get changed when ive done my 'jobs' - I also wear a apron for cleaning and one for cooking so i dont stain my clothes.

I have a really nasty paint splattered track suit for any bleach or heavy jobs.

I wear something I wouldn't be ashamed to open the door or take the bins out in.

I wear yoga pants and a t-shirt too. I can go outside in them to empty the bin or the hoover, and answer the door to the postie or whoever but they are quite cool.

I then have a nice shower and get dressed into proper clothes.

Occasionally undies as I do tend to get a bit aerobic while cleaning.

Otherwise, a vest top with yoga trousers or cut-off jeans that I do tend to keep specifically for cleaning.

I have been known, at the weekend, to do the housework in my PJs so that I can have a shower and get dressed afterwards (is that slatternly?)

Otherwise I just wear whatever I'm wearing and will get changed afterwards if needed, although obviously I wouldn't do it dressed up to the nines.

If I'm cooking I tend to wear an apron as I'm forever spilling things/flicking stuff around.
