Tip of the day

Don't get in a panic over Christmas. Keep a box and put a little in it every week - small gifts, wine, nibbles, napkins etc. This way, you'll be more relaxed and less skint in December! keriku

Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

If things sell out quickly, wait until the end of next week when the returns start coming back.

Most things I would like for the dc are either almost completely sold out or have 'unavailable' written by them.
Any chance they will suddenly be back into stock at sale time?
Everything seems to have sold out really really quickly this summer!

What size discounts do they do?
Any baskets filled up before the sale will be cleared.

Bummer! Best go have a look at children's clothes now then ... have only picked out a few things but they're probably away. Thanks!
no, I tried that last year I think.

there's nothing left anyhow (in children - I don't bother with adults clothing)

If I fill my Boden basket today (assuming website still up), will the items still be there in the morning and at reduced price?? If not, I'll have to be up early grin
I think someone on here has been told already that the sale starts tomorrow.

I'll be on from 7am [sad emoticon]
so what does it say in the DM?

I ordered what I wanted earlier this week to make sure I got it.
MArvellous - I knew I could count on MN !

Usually set my alarm to make sure I am up in time but DD2 (16 wks) should ensure I'm up on time.
The hanger lane shop is closed today to prepare for sale tomoz.
Pretty sure as £10 off £0 ends midnight tonight.
Normally starts between 7 and 8am
i reckon it'll be starting tomorrow, it's already started on their american site.
I think its on tomorrow. I am going out with a friend, so most of it will be gone by the time I get back.
What do we think ? Usually MN is the authority on this but have not seen anything certain.

I think most things I want are sold out but sure I'll find something to buy.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
