I bought this dress to go to a wedding evening on Saturday but am not sure what to wear with it. There will be alot of very fashionable people there and I want a wow factor to it. Please help!

Okay - firstly let me warn you I live in jeans and t-shirts but I would put a splash of colour and my initial thought would be red beads. Its a long shot. hope you get the style and effect you want.

That's exactly what I live in and so I thought I would go for something different and now am stuck! I did wonder about colour with it.

Red or purple. I got some wonderful shoes in Dorothy Perkins, I'll see if I can find the link.

I will need to wear some tights with it as my legs are a sight never to be seen.

I am there with you on that but I went to wedding friday and as it was so hot ignored the tight thing - result "I can't believe you are so white"

Love the shoes ilove- what about a red bag to go with? Don't know where to find but suggest red clutch or whatever is in these days.

Have a spray tan...tights won't go with that dress. Have it done the day before then shower on the morning of the wedding.

Is it day or evening?

I am just wondering if red is a tiny bit obvious. Are you a slinky young thing? If so, I'd probably go for a load of silver bangles, a pair of Jackie O sunglasses and not an awful lot else. Maybe some jewelled sandals, or some bronze ones.

I think the dress is wow factor enough on its own, really.

That's probably why i thought of it not known for my fashion sense.

What kind of sandals would you think would look good with it?

Am liking the suggestion of silver bangles and silver sandals - keeping it all fairly simple. Red is a bit of a cliche, maybe?

I would go with black high heeled shoes/sandals and an emerald green clutch plus chunky emerald green bangles

dress is gorgeous.

i woul;d also go for simple silver accesories, chunky bracelet and drop ear-rings. you will need a huge pair of shades as well

lumpsdumps just envious - comfort eating ruined my size 8 and would love to go back. Also envious of people with smaller chests - can never get pretty underwear is all clumpy when you big and the bust waist thing makes dresses fit bad.

I will never 5ft4 though would love to be shorter - never happy with what got.
Glad you're getting some good advice and pinching ideas too.

Us women are very hard to please! Am now not sure what to go for out of the suggestions as I like the idea of the silver sandels and I've got loads of silver jewellery
