Which of these dresses do you prefer? If any?

Hi.

I have my brothers wedding in August, my brother and his fiance are quite trendy and I want a dress thats a bit different.
I've found these four in the sale and thought I might see what they look like on.

What do you think?
Any suggestions?

Number 1

This in purple - Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

I prefer number 4. They are all ok, but I think they are a bit skimpy for a wedding to be honest.

I like the first one, in navy not pink (although depends on your colouring obviously). I really don't like number 2. 4 is okay

bit tacky,imo...sorry

I agree suwoo. They're a wee bit tacky (sorry) - think it is the combination of length, detail and fabric that makes them OTT for a wedding.

Like, one shoulder would be fine if length more knee-grazing. Short would be fine if more cover on shoulders/ chest. Shiny fabric just looks a bit cheap.

Think you can do better.

I also think that they show far too much flesh for a wedding. You can get much nicer things for similar prices imho.

Listen to letthemeatcake......she knows

Honestly? They are not trendy at all, if that was the point.
I think they are all horrible and a bit brassy for a wedding.
Now tell me your colouring, dress size and budget and I will help you search

i think they might be ok if you are very young, very slim and its the kind of wedding where everyone will be wearing that type of party dress

i think the colours are lovely

sorry ... did not mean to sound like a know-it-all.

Right... I really don't know what to go for.

They are a bit short, but dresses are normally a bit longer on me, my legs are a bit short.

I've found some gorgeous one's on net-a-porter but way too expensive.

Right, i'm 5 foot 4, blonde and fair skinned. Size 8 on the bottom and 10 on top-ish depending on the shop.

Budget... up to £100ish but obviously the cheaper the better

TIA

I didn't mean it in a sarky way- hope you didn't interpret it as that. I've seen your threads and know you like nice things

how old are you sazzlelou? because if you are over 25, I'd hesitate at any of them...

I like number one in navy. Ted Baker do some really nice dresses.

I know what you mean about dresses being longer on you - I'm only 5'2'' so 'short' dresses normally sit just above the knee on me which I think is fine for a wedding.

Sounds like you have a great figure so why not wear what you will feel comfortable in.

Quite like this, especially the colour but again I don't know.
Arghhh weddings!
