I have been wearing boots with skirts all winter but I don't know what to wear now the weather's getting warmer...

Any recommendations? I can't wear open toed anything because I have crap feet and am probably a bit old for ballet pumps. My favourite look atm is is bit like the picture with this skirt. I'm a recent convert to skirts, having lived the previous 40 years in jeans, so need all the help I can get

I feel your pain. I too live in skirts with boots and get a bit traumatised as spring dawns upon us. I hate exposing my legs because I'm so pale, I hate wearing heels, and I have crap feet so need sensible (yuk) shoes.

Really looking forward to someone posting a radical, transformative solution that hasn't occurred to me before!

It's so not warm enough to ditch boots, yet. You've got another 2 months at least where you'll be able top wear them most days, so don't fret .

Have you thought about peep-toe wedges? You don't really have to 'get your feet out' in peep toes.

How about keeping the boots, but wearing with a skirt, warmish long sleeved t, something else layered onto, and then a fitted blazer (with non-wooly scarf like this www.warehouse.co.uk/fcp/product/fashion/Accessories/WIDE-TONAL-SCARF/11181

when the weather is even warmer, you can swap the boots for chunky heeled shoes.

I love that scarf, thank you!

Any examples of peeep toes or otherwise?

In spring I often wear fine knit crotchet tights, or sheer ones with a subtle pattern

I like those, thank you! So you'd wear those with patterned tights rather than plain?

I'm sticking to boots for a while yet. I've ditched the wool tights though in favour of some brighter coloured opaques.

Or these. Sometimes Clarks shoes are better in rl than they look on the website.

These are good too, but you need to buy expensive ones otherwise they are uncomfortable and can fall down.
