I have £40 to spend on 'non essentials' and want 3 things. I can't justify them all. Please help me out...

If you were me, would you rather spend it on:

this Brora hat; or

this ensemble for ds; or

this smythson notebook?

decisions, decisions....!

£25 for a hat? Just a knitted hat....?

A not overly nice looking outfit

Or

a notebook of lined paper for £39?!!?!?

Seriously - you can get all 3 elsewhere and still have change

are you nuts?
you could get all 3 for £40 quid elsewhere!

What is going to give you the most pleasure? don't buy something that you can't enjoy because it cost so much.

maybe it's a wind up?

This is a piss take? Please tell me you are joking.

The hat is fugly.

The outfit is just .

The notebook made me roffle and brought a tear to my eye.

There I've saved you 40 quid, go and buy yourself something nice

Yes I am nuts, taht's a well known fact

I could get a non cashmere hat for less, ditto a notebook (but it wouldn't be Smythson 'Dreams & Thoughts').

If anyone knows where I can get a similar outfit for DS however, please point me in the right direction!

I'd get a similar hat from Next or somewhere.
I'd get a similar notebook from WHSmith
I'd try and find a similar outfit in Matalan/Adams/M&S/anywhere

And I'd have all three.

Couldn't justify the singular cost of the other things even if I did only pick one.

The outfit is the nicest of the lot.

Hat looks too thin to be warm!
Book is a rip off!

Oh MrsSB

Didn't you know that the Smythson motto is 'I saw you coming'?

kidcreoleandthecoconuts · 16/01/2009 13:43

If I were you MrsSean I'd get the hat.

The outfit is horrid, sorry!

The notebook is lovely but very expensive for a pad!

IwishIwasamermaid · 16/01/2009 13:44

Just out of interest, what would you use that notebook for?

Would you actually jot down your thoughts and dreams? None of mine are that noteworthy so I would just write shopping lists in it thats why I have a 10p Asda notebook.

NewAmazingBeginning · 16/01/2009 13:45

The outfit is just cruel tbh.
Hat won't be warm.
{shock] That notebook is a plain book with words on the front. Get yourself to WhSmith and buy some letraset letters!

Don't take it personally MrsSB, but come on, even the model looks pissed off to be wearing that hat.
