knickers - tk max
bras - ebay (get measured properly at bravissimo or some such, find a brand and size that works and look on ebay)

Bras from Bravissimo.

Knickers generally from M&S for everyday use. (sorry am I allowed to say M&S on mnet, I must clarify I do not mean Per Una)

I love Empreinte bras, they're comfy, supportive and give a good shape, and they last for ages even though I wash them in the machine.

I'm afraid, rather boringly, I buy my pants from M&S. I like their Brazilian pants.

snigger @ brazilian pants (they are v. nice but i am sure not alo tof brazilian are prancing around in those)

Yes I like the brazilian pants and also I find most of the "high leg" style quite flattering. For some odd reason I am a size larger in M&S knickers.

like the empriente bras but the woman in that link looks possessed.

Report
bran · 12/10/2008 13:21

I was just thinking as I did the link that she looks as though she has cateracts or something. If you scroll down the next woman is doing something naughty with her hands just out of photo shot.

i think she is rearranging her iris thong!

Ug.

But I want 'matching', which might limit places like ebay I think.

La senza has a maybe one nice one though..

is this bad??

oh dear, check out the matching thong

Off to surf m&s

M&S bras never fit me, they ride up and dig in and are generally nasty.

I wear Primark pants for everyday - a 5 pack of minis costs £2.50 and they are decent quality IF you are willing to humiliate yourself by going up at least one size - I'm a 16-18 in their pants, despite being a 14 in RL.

If you're lucky enough to go to the USA, American Eagle have truly gorgeous boy style pants in great quality heavy cotton ideal for winter. Again, for best flattery go up a size. I'm an XL, which look huge but in fact sit nicely without nipping my fat hips

I usually have to go down a size in M&S pants, but I'm apple-shape so have disproportionately small hips.

I think boy pants only really look nice if you have a nice round bum and rounded hips, I look like a bloke in them.

Nice round bum and rounded hips... yup, I've got that all right

Never saw it as a blessing before but that's a very cheerful thought!

Bet you look great in skinny jeans, I look like a beachball with feet in them

I got brilliant pants in Tesco last year. Don't know what they were called but they covered my bum, no riding up or VPL, but were low enough that they didn't peek over the top of my jeans. They were £5 for 5.
