Do these photo handbags make you puke or would you actually rather like one ?

Gina Alexander Photo Handbags

I'm interested in stocking these or similar for a child photography business (maternity, newborn, babies, kids) and the American market tends to go crazy for them. Just wondered what you all thought...

[barfs]

no seriously, if i dare go out without the kids its tears and tamtrums as soon as i get my keys, carrying a bag with the little monsters cherubs faces on would just increase my sometimes guilt.

What would be interesting though is if I get one for Dee, and I select a decent shot for it, if she will get lots of people asking where she got it from etc...

I take it it is the mere concept of a photobag rather than these specific designs being of questionable merit ?

Hideous, although having said that my 74 year old mother would probably like one.

probably, hub. tbh i'd be embarrassed to carry one, even the most gorge pic of dd, as it just marks you out as such a mum, iykwim?

OK, so maybe it would appeal to first-time mums before they turn into tired and weary battle-hardened mums ?

lol

i'm a first-time mum, hub. even if you'd caught me as i was coming out of the labour room i wouldn't have lost my marbles enough to want one.

Not necessarily photos of dc though!

Bags themselves are gross (granny style) & hideously overpriced. Quite like the idea of having own choice of image on a big tote bag or bowling style bag.

pmsl aitch.

Aha, so maybe more tote stylee would do the trick, rather than 'structured' handbag. More of a beach bag vibe etc. ?

lol calif. Yes, maybe it's the 'fancy' shape and I should aim for more of the tote thing... if indeed I stock them at all...

Jayzus!!

If they were cheaper I would have got one for my mum when pfb was a week old! As a way of announcing to her friends that she was a grandma! But not at that price!

Could be a fun idea for a jokey handbag, like a picture of you and your friends when you were 17! But again, for £20 not $200

Misdee lol when I dare to go out without children, I get a little frisson of 'nobodyknowsI'mamother!'. A handbag with my tikes' muggs on it would blow my cover.

Prob work well on the maternity ward. I signed up for everything there, even the photo of a random baby that is supposed to be dd but looks like someone shoved a bicycle pump into each ear and put in enough air to fill the tyres of a Hummer.

I have indeed been away for yonks.

Well, not away, just not hitting refresh every fifteen seconds ;-)
