We are thinking of having a photoshoot of the DC's and have come across this website

www.lornas-portraits.com

I absolutely love the style, DH thinks it is a bit creepy.........

Also anyone recommend any London/South East photographers??

Thanks

DM

They're not to my taste - I think they look a bit contrived. Personally I prefer a natural snap of dd laughing or busy doing something. But I think that about most posed shots of children so perhaps I'm the wrong person to comment.

If you like them then go for it.

I don't like them

to me some of those say 'no it is not enough that you are a wonderful little girl, I want a picture of you made to look like Red Riding Hood / a princess / a fairy / someone other than yourself'

and the overdone hair and makeup makes me

I am still on the fence on this one!!!

My dd would like this one

They are quite funny some of them. I'd do it for a hoot and because you all secretly want to be a Lemony Snicket film, but not for beautiful pictures of your children.

I'd go somewhere else for that.

actually ahundredtimes, i think you have hit the nail on the head...this is moe of a "one off, fun thing" rather than a natural photoshoot....I am now thinking they are 2 seperate things..........

These came up recently on another thread and I was one of the few people then that didn't like them!!

I think they're incredibly contrived and rather too forced for my taste.

I prefer really natural pics - we had some done of DD1 in a local studio, in black and white, and the female photographer had her jumping around, laughing, rolling on the floor etc. They were beautiful and cost pennies compared to Venture for example.

but the pregnancy ones are wrong!
