I got magic knickers last year for a special occasion and under an expensive dres .. got the big ones that came up to just below bra level from M&S .. they rolled down when I walked downstairs so I took them off and put my normal nicks on and took them back .. it took me 40 mins complaining before I got a refund as they weren't fit for purpose

I got some M&S ones that are waist to thigh. They're quite good.

So not M&S then?

Another question...doesn't it push any extra flesh upwards, or downwarsd?

My advice would be to get the high waisted knicker style ones.
the cycling short looking ones leave a noticable ridge around your thigh.

Also i have loads of these "suck it all in pants" and the best by far are the ones from Primark.

They really do squeeze it all in and reduces my waist enough to get in jeans that i cannot otherwise do up!

(plus they are a third of teh M&S price)

I found the M&S rolled over at the waist to produce a fetching little extra muffin top

Gok has just done a piece on magic pants - on c4. whole variety but none m and s.

SPanx are supposed to be the best, but according to Gok, the shape needed dicatates the style and therefore depends which brand you go for.
