i want (i want i want )...

not too big

a proper change section or a firm zip

no stoopid clasps

i don't care about price, by and large, my birthday's coming up so dh will cough up grateful that he didn't have to find one himself.

i was looking at this, it's quite jolly. i enjoy a jolly accessory.

oh, and to hoxton, my last purse was a mandarina duck one. it kept popping open, was a pop-stud thing keeping it together.

clearly i over-stuff my purses... i need one that's immune to that practice.

god knows, if there's a lovely mandarina duck one in leather that won't pop open i'll be delighted.

my farking connection keeps going but I noticed Fossil has some lovely leather ones the other day. Soft and good sized pockets etc. Don't know if they have stores everywhere

I have a Cath Kidston one, also oilcloth and I love it (will buy another when it wears out, is the best purse I've had) but it is quite big. Mine is red with white stars and they don't do it this year.

I love those Orla Kiely ones though - I love the oilcloth bags. If I had enough money in my nice CK purse I'd buy one...

I have had a Mandarina duck one for 6 years (cost £70 in Galeries Lafayette) and it looks exactly the same as when I bought it

Never popped open or anything gone wrong ever...........

galeries lafayette is where i got my favourite bag...

thanks for these, funnily enough having just queried whether billy bag were ov-ah on another thread that one is my favourite. the cath kidston is surprisingly good value imo.

ideally i'd like something that had a zip right round, i think... to help with my overstuffing issue.

but then when you open it, stuff is more likely to fall out isn't it? I over stuff purses (and bags) too.

am surprised by how conventional teh MD ones are, actually. apart from the silver one, funnily enough.

Although it's too big for me (not enough money to fill it) my MD one has tons of room in it - and zip right round. Not as much room in BB one.

at least it won't pour into the bottom of my bag... i've got about fifty quid's worth of change floating about in there at the moment.

i think i might prefer it in white, actually, saggers. it's not leather, is it? will it get awfully diirty do you think?

and it's not money, it's receipts. honestly, what a waste of everyone's time and trees they are. but my purse is full of them ALL the time.

which one, breadgirl? i do like lv (old skool) but then you get into fakes territory which can be a bit naffola.

and hoxton... really? the back pocket of some jeans? no no NO. (it's nicer in the other colours tho).

I don't think that worked, but i went into e-shopping, women, wallets and small leather goods, epi leather then to zippy wallet.

the zippy wallet would be great, but it looks like a coin purse only. am really at the orangeyness of the gold clasps on those LV purses, actually.
