so, I bought these shoes and they are totally fab but ...

they are a bit tight around the toes, especially on left foot
I do have wide feet
will they stretch enough to be comfy so should I [sob] [sob] send them back

every day, walking to work, on your feet all day? send them back

occasion wear, don't have to walk far or stand up for long. keep them.

have to say i'd send back 3 pairs of uncomfy shoes even if i was completely in love with them. quite an investment for something that doesn't do the job properly.

no. send back immediately and get your proper size. i've done this far too many times and now i have embraced the 40s i don't even get blisters any more.

i will allow you an insole on the larger size if it really is flapping, that is far comfier than trying to stretch the tiny shoe.

my toes are curly because of naughty cheap shoes.

look further too, i wanted kurt geiger boots which were half price on website but sold out. i rang customer services and last pair of size 40 boots in the whole world are arriving tomorrow from nottingham.

otherwise will have to buy full price elsewhere and will be unable to feed children for some time

You could even try some of those Party Feet gel things. Superdrug seem very good on that sort of thing IME.

Sadly not They are little gel cushiony things that you stick in shoes. I don't know if you could use them an enormous amount, but there did seem to be a huge variety of things in Superdrug (but not drugs IYSWIM)

I would send them back.

I got some shoes at the weekend which are really a bit big ... had to get heel grips & an insole, but they're only for occasion wear & I loved them &the lady serving me said that it's better to have an insole than a shoe that's too small & hurts. With the insole they don't feel too big.

She also said that an insole can make the shoe into a half size.

The party feet are good even if the shoes feel like they fit because they cusion the ball of your foot & help stop rubbing. They do all kinds of things like heel bits & gel spots for bits which rub.
