I love jeans but have lost 2 stone in weight and really changed my body shape on the bottom half and would love to treat myself to some fabulous figure enhancing jeans . I am between a 12-14 and 5ft 3 , i currently have m+s basic jeans in bootcut. not really sure what constitutes a good pair and if designer labels are really worth the extra money ???? would happily spend £100 for a really fab pair.

how are you off for time? My best bet for jean shopping is to go with a friend to a place like gap or denim city. One with loads of sizes, shapes and colours. Collar an asisstant and get her to bring you loads to try on.

yes gap seconded - go and tell them exactly what you have said here and let them come up with solutions (long and lean do not fit me properly, but i am a funny shape). m&s jeans can be frumpy, they tend to be cut too generously.

thanks - am off shopping tomorrow for rare treat as kids and dh away will go to gap and try loads, have always stck to m+s mainly because they fitted when i was bigger and because am / was terrified of "trendy" shops because was so fat but now slimmer feeling would like to be less frumpy in my choices!!!

don't restrict your self to a certain style or fit. If they look crap on you don't need to go out of the changing room
you may be surprised as to what works.

If a style looks good get more than one pair. I made the mistake of only buying one and wore them so much they are in tatters

I'd try 7 for all mankind, but if you go somewhere like House of Fraser, they stock all the premium brands and then ou can try on a few to see how they fit.

I'm not a fan of Gap jeans and if you want a really special pair, do you want some that anyone can buy on any old high street? [still, if they fit fantastic, suppose you may not mind that]

I have 7 for all mankind jeans, some sass & bide and some David Bitton. I also have some really nice ones from Oasis that were a bargain at £45 and look great, and some black skinnies from topshop that again at £45 were a bargain and I wear them all the time.

Try ebay for second hand pair until you find the style you like then splurge on a new pair at shops

apparently there are some really nice butt enhancing styles out there - in all honesty I am yet to find them - although sass & bide rabbit boys are not too bad on the behind

7 for all mankind as well as sass & bide are meant to be great so is true religon (I like sas & bide and got a couple of pair off ebay very cheap (under $50 AUD) - they are usually around $240-260 AUD)
