Present for a young 50-something professional lady?

A lovely lady has helped me a lot recently (in a paid capacity)! She's approaching 50 but doesn't look a day over 40. She's a really vibrant, independent, strong person but she told me that she wants to look more funky, punky and glamorous. She's really cool in her dress sense anyway (converse, jeans, dungarees, Cos dresses etc).

I'd love to get her something for Christmas, budget £25 or so. Please help me, oh stylish ones of Mumsnet!

Have you seen Tatty Divine jewellery. Might be the sort of thing that goes with her dress sense.

Or how about this necklace from Cos?
If you gave her a gift receipt you'd be pretty sure she could swap it for something else she liked if she wasn't keen.

Santas - that Cos necklace might be perfect!

I've never heard of Tatty Devine but I had a look and I really like her stuff! So thank you again!

High street jewelry. If you go for somewhere like River Island, H&M or Top Shop it's bound to be modern. Some of it's brassy and tacky but you can also find lovely things that look far more expensive than they are.

A fake fur collar, either small and neat to go over a jumper or oversized to wear over a coat.

One of those massive scarf/blankety things. Not a poncho, the kind where you throw one end over your shoulder and pretend you're in Paris. H&M had some for under £20 just the other week.

Leather gloves, maybe in her favourite colour? You can never have too many pairs.

I am not, personally, brave enough for this but some funky socks to bridge the gap between ankle length trousers and shoes.

Not S&B and I know some people think they're really wanky but a re-usable take away coffee cup. (I'm hoping to get one myself but then I am a bit wanky.)

If she doesn't have any allergies, some lovely hand cream.
