Best hair curler?

Thinking of getting DD's a hair curler as a joint present for christmas. Anyone know of a good tried and tested one? not too sure how much I want to spend - possibly up to £140 as I would rather they had one that was good and not damage their hair too much. They all have long hair.

Thanks in advance

I think it depends on what type of curls they would want to do?
I've got about four (greedy!) different curling wands and they all do different things.

GHD do some now, you can also use their straighteners to curl hair, although I've never mastered it.
My current favourite is the Babyliss boutique soft waves, depending on the angle you use it, it produces different styles. I'm sure they all do this but this is the one I've found most effective at that. It was £40 max.

I'm looking at the Babyliss secret curl one.

Baby miss Perfect Curl is fabulous. The curls stay in for ages.

The Lee Stafford chopstick is great for corkscrews (may be damaging though I guess at £20) or the Cloud 9 Original wand is great for big curls and waves.
