Where do you shop online for occasion dresses? I have a wedding coming up and don't live near any good shopping places. Have looked on ASOS and the Outnet and have done some searches on Shopstyle. Ideally after a green midi dress but open to anything really! Budget is £150 max. 5ft 7 size 10-12. Hit me with your shopping or dress suggestions!

we have a designer outlet place nearby - My last 2 have come from Roman (wedding) and Bon Marche (evening) - but think you need to be a bit lucky with both!

Debenhams and m&co both have a few brands on their websites that might give you ideas?

Thanks Taffy. Just had a quick look on m&co and doesn't seem my style but Debenhams always worth a look I guess!

Thanks yearzero. Some lovely dresses but not quite right for the occasion.

Have been looking at styles with quite flared skirts and bardot necklines. Or lace detail. Can't quite explain what I'm after but I'll know when I see it! Sorry to be so difficult to please grin

I've just bought this for a wedding in Jan,
for the price it's lovely, really nice lace,

Oh that's gorgeous Becstarlenski. Thanks. Some gorgeous dresses and the prices are unbelievable...will have a good look on there

hecallsmebunny Sat 19-Nov-16 20:01:14

PS what's the Joanie sizing like please? For example I could probably buy a 10 dress in Oasis but need a 12 in Warehouse (at least last time I checked, which is a while...)

Coast have a lovely dark green midi called Hermoine in at the moment.

I am trying to justify the price of this: www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_58607+01715598_-1 It's mostly sold out online, but my local Debs had it in a ten when I was there last week. It's glorious on. I feel a bit like Scarlett O'Hara.

hecallsmebunny Sat 19-Nov-16 21:52:50

NotAMammy I did look at that dress and think it looked gorgeous...do have a Debenhams nearby so might pop in this week. Thanks!

hecallsmebunny Sat 19-Nov-16 21:53:57

Coconut, do you have any EA stuff? Is the sizing typical?

CoconutOilWink Sat 19-Nov-16 23:27:39

I'm an odd size really 10 on top, 12 on bottom but I've never had an issue buying size 10 fit and flare type dresses from there smile

hecallsmebunny Sun 20-Nov-16 11:36:43

Not odd, or we both are, sounds exactly like me! thanks again smile

Becstarlenski Sun 20-Nov-16 19:44:04

The size seems good I got a 16 and it fits well maybe a tiny bit big. I get a 16 in warehouse but have to watch the styles as I'm more of a 14 on top with wide hips. I was really please with my dress can't wait to wear it.

hecallsmebunny Sun 20-Nov-16 20:13:31

Okay great thanks. Enjoy looking fabulous in your dress smile

M&S this is what I would buy if I had anything coming up.

I've been dress shopping recently. There's so much more choice on the internet compared to in the shops. But House of Fraser has a good selection, with some good discounts on some nice Ralph Lauren dresses.
