Nice in a Cos kind of way.

Wouldn't suit me but I like it. I think you'd need a figure like the model though to pull it off. Also, I'd get it dirty in less than 30 seconds. But I'm a mucky pup.

Personally I wouldn't be able to keep it clean for five minutes but I like the shape and I love the way they've styled it. If I saw someone on the street dressed like that, I'd think, 'wow!' The only thing I hate is the visible popper fastener. They make me go all shouty.

It's a bit dentist-y to me. This is very similar but a bit more relaxed with a much higher wool content. It's also not as stark a shade. It's £30 more but much higher quality:

It's lovely! Nice shape and I think it could be quite flattering. I'm not sure the cut would go as well with skirts and dresses but it's very pretty and unusual. I'd never keep it clean personally, but if you can then go for it!

See I like the stark white. It wouldn't suit me personally but if you've got the right colouring, I think it would look great.

Dentist-y says it all! I think the boxiness would make it difficult to wear, quite apart from coffee issues.
I like the Jigsaw one though.

The way they've styled it on the model makes it look atrocious with all the layers. It makes me ragey. You need a jacket but nothing on your legs? Aaaaaaaaargh!
Possibly it would look good with the rest of the outfit very pared down but in my opinion there's more wrong with it than right. I also can't abide visible poppers.

YY to the Jigsaw one instead.

I'm not keen, it looks really androgynous to me. I wouldn't know where to start in regards to what to wear with it but that said if it's your style and you are drawn to it then go for it.

I think it looks grannyish. Sorry! It would not be out of place in Viyella!

I actually gaped open mouthed at how appalling it is, and then was gobsmacked at the comments on here about how nice it was. In what way has that monstrosity got anything to do with biker jackets?

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I wouldn't buy it from a charity shop!

MyGast Grin It looks like it's trying to hard on the one hand but also like a sack on the other. I just don't know what it is to be honest but I'm sure if I was to put a picture of my dream coat on here people would slate it too!

Looks like a dentist's jacket. The jigsaw one is nice. But I'd drop something on it in nanoseconds, or brush against something or dip my cuff in something.

Style and Beauty does make me laugh sometimes. There's a thread around somewhere about all the contortions and humiliations we submit to in the name of 'personal grooming' and yet a white jacket is trying too hard. Apart from trying not to spill your dinner down it (which I agree would be very hard indeed) what does that even mean? Grin

Buster yes we've all got different tastes, and I certainly don't claim to be any sort of style guru. I'd never dare post clothes of pictures I like on here for fear of putting people off their food!

I don't know Floisme I suppose it looks a bit.....dare I say it...pretentious!!! It's just a bit rah rah....I suppose the way it's styled up on the website just makes me feel that way, not the jacket itself, the way it's portrayed on the model.

I suppose if you're trying to be something you're really not then yes perhaps. Maybe. Sometimes. But trying out something that's out of your normal comfort zone - that I am all for, even if it does end badly sometimes Grin

Me too. Don't get me wrong I love trying things out, I'm not at all shy with trying things out. I suppose the white biker jacket is completely and utterly not me. I'm girly and I love colour and patterns.

Oh I love colour too. I guess every so often I like to flirt with minimalism and androgyny, even though I don't have an androgynous body any more.

Thanks all for your mixed opinions! Grin

I think I will order it to try. I imagine it will be going back though.

Might look for the Jigsaw one in the sale.
