Shopping - Discount Shopping

I'm not a great shopper but all of a sudden I feel in need of retail therapy!

I'd like a day out within 11/2 hours drive/train of NorthWest London.

I've been to Bicester, somewhere like that would be great and if suggestions had a TKMaxx, I'd be over the moon.

Any thoughts for a brain dead, out of practise shopper?

ps. no kids so I don't need to worry about entertainment for them
